"I am doing a Marathi film after 25 years" - Sumeet Raghavan

Sumeet Raghavan is well known for his comic timing but his personality and humility left us in awe of him. While the Sarabhai v/s Sarabahai fame currently enchants the audience as Vasant Ghotala in SAB TV's Badi Door Se Aaye Ha, we at India-forums.com speak to the handsome man about his journey in the industry.

Sumeet averred, "I started my career with Marathi theatre post which I got an opportunity to showcase my skills on television. I took up Sarabhai v/s Sarabhai in 2005 which was the turning point of my career. People started acknowledging me and this show gave me the fame I needed. "

It would be interesting to know that the talented actor who is loved for his comic timing is not very interested in subjecting himself to doing only' comedy.

Elaborating on the thought, he said, "I would love to explore more shades and experiment different characters but I guess people like watching me in comedy shows."

Adding another feature in his hat, Sumeet will soon be seen in the Marathi film, Sandook.

The talented man quipped, "I am doing a Marathi film after 25 years! I am extremely excited to see what response it generates. I have done Bollywood too but I should say the scripts which the regional industry generates are unique. They have their own charm. Unlike films, we work like one big family."

While we see actors juggling with multiple shows and avoid taking breaks, Sumeet loves to work on his whims.

The good-looking Sumeet stated, "Ohh yes! I get bored very easily and to break away from monotony I take time off and rejuvenate. I am not an actor who will work for long hours till I am ready to drop. "

Sumeet claimed that he would love to be a part of a show or a film which is based on music in future.
