#Stylebuzz: Only Skin And Hair Tips You Need For Holi!

Spare your skin and hair while playing a mad Holi!

Holi is super but not as much for the ones conscious about their beauty. Because along with tons of fun and memory that you will make, it will also leave your skin and hair dry, damaged and in dire need of repair.

To help you keep your vanity unflawed through this festivity of vibrant colours (chemicals), I've shortlisted few tried and tested tips from my own experiences. They have surely helped me keep things smooth in the beauty department of my life.

Starting with the precious manes

Styling thy tresses in a tight-but-neat combed back hairdo, will keep all the colours from not coming in direct contact with the scalp.

Oil? Naah!!

As opposed to the popular Holi hair-tip of 'oiling thy hair', my suggestion is don't. Unless you want a paste of colour and more difficulty getting rid of it.

Extra Protection

A scarf can also serve as an added layer of protection. You could go desi with a normal drape or look super cool with a smartly tied turban or a bandana.

Save That Salon Visit For Post-Holi Hangover

Moving on to protecting the largest organ of human body, the skin. Right before your Holi celebration, abstain from any kind of activity that will lead to corrosion and open pores. For example scrubbing, waxing or threading. Even a spa session for that matter (just save it for later).

Defying the popular belief of heavy moisturizing

My advice is don't, whichever moisturizer you choose to use on your skin, make sure it is not sticky. A layer of  greasy moisturizer or oil for that matter will only make the colour over stay its welcome. A full-sleeved kurta will protect your skin more than any body-lotion ever can!

Lastly, an over-sized pair of sunglasses will be best to guard those pretty peepers and the delicate skin around from having any colour coming in contact.
