Indian Television shows are all about tangling twists, sharp turns and large leaps served on the side with some look changes and makeovers, which take the plot further or are simply done to garner TRPs. Whatever may be the reason, they sure are interesting. And that is the standard story telling on the silver screen. Therefore, as the year comes to an end, we decided to look back at some major style makeovers of actresses in their television shows...

To being with, in Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi, it was Sonakshi's (Erica Fernandes) transformation from a quintessential salwaar-kameez clad married woman to a strong headed single mother who sports cool shoulder-grazing hair and fancy fusion wear.

Remember Maya's (Jennifer Winget) obsession with white in Beyhadh? From a fierce working woman always dolled in crisp whites to a love smitten girl wanting to experiment with her style, she changed for love. With this, Maya took the plunge and broke free from the obsession for whites to blossom in the colour of love and life.

In Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, from a distressed sari clad next door wife/mother to an estranged yet stylish lady, Ishita's (Divyanka Tripathi) style transformation although not massive, but has been surely remarkable.

'Life' happened and Diya's look changed from a free-spirited Rajput girl of Pehredaar Piya Ki to a sincere and dutiful lass in Rishta Likhenge Hum Naya. Tejasswi Prakash's sacrificial journey is aptly reflected in her dressing too.

The most recent one, Mehek's transformation in Zindagi Ki Mehek, from a simple salwaar-kameez donning homely girl to a quirky sari drape coupled with silver jewellery donning disguised look was truly unique.

While majority makeovers are from western to desi or desi to more desi, this one is the other way round. From slaying six-yards as Jhanvi to the sexy Jia, Disha Parmar looks fab in Woh Apna Sa.

From Udaan, Imli's (Vidhi Pandya) role change into a villain, has a strong recall value from Supriya Pathak's intimidating dressing in Deepika Padukone starrer, Ram-Leela.

In Naamkarann, Avani's (Aditi Rathore) makeover from a casually dressed girl to a high-society lady who is always prim and proper as well as sexy in an off-shoulder blouse and chiffon saris.

Let us know the look changes that you liked in your favourite TV shows..
