has been on a roll in recent times, where it has been ruling the rating charts for multiple weeks now.
However, to bring a shake-up of sorts in the all drama soaps line-up of the channel, Krystle Dsouza
's return to TV awaits to go on-air.
In the talk for a while now, Krystle tries her hand at comedy for the first time and she chose Belan Wali Bahu
to do that, which also marks the comeback of actor-writer, Dheeraj Sarna
to the screens.
With the promo out, let's see how promising it is..
What Is It About?
's character dominates over three quarters of the whole promo and is building up to the fact that how a belan (kitchen roller) is such an important thing in life. In fact, as important as life and death.
However, the changing visuals give you the idea of how Dheeraj's character is of a typical middle class husband who has a particular reason for saying that your point of view towards belan will completely change when you will learn about his story and his wife's (Krystle Dsouza
) connection with it.
Albeit Krystle doesn't have any dialogue in the promo except a muted 'Sorry' to Dheeraj and even a quarter screen-time of the promo, she totally rules the screen as soon as she appears. As beautiful as ever, she looks radiant as a housewife.
Not many may remember Dheeraj Sarna
, but the man has always been a great actor apart from being a fantastic writer. With a couple of blink-and-miss roles coming over 12-14 years ago, this is an amalgamation of comeback and debut for the actor. And with amazing enunciation of the dialogues and innocent face, Dheeraj seems aptly casted as the titular character.
I totally understand the element of mystery to what exactly is belan wali bahu, but the promo only seems to entangle you with the idea even more. With an innocent display of a husband's plight, the connection of a belan to his housewife seems a little weird.
's short appearance in the promo has itself given a major reason for the viewers to watch out for the show already and the same is given a boost with Dheeraj's comeback. The fact that Krystle is trying her hand at comedy is another reason to watch out for the show and the somewhat confusing yet entertaining visuals justify the excitement.
