Yes! I do live in a paradoxical world, apparently. My obsession with internationally iconic TV shows and films have led me to do probably preposterous and uncannily funny stuff.
And, being one of those people who is updated with Indian TV shows and religiously watches international TV shows otherwise, I love coming up with weirdly absurd ideas and this is one too.
As convoluted as it sounds, this is about what If the iconic dialogues from iconic shows were mouthed by an Indian TV character playing the original character but in a quintessential TV soap.
I will try making it easy to understand. For e.g. - what If Shivaay Singh Oberoi (Nakuul Mehta
) had to say a Walter White (Breaking Bad) dialogue but in the premise of Ishqbaaaz
maintaining the Walter White look! Easier to get it know?
Well, it will get better as you roll below... Here we go-
If there is one thing we remember Baa for, than that is here ability to never die! I wondered what If the depth and truth of Don Draper's (Jon Hamm
) dialogue below from Mad Men was mouthed by Baa-
We keep mentioning how Udaan
began as a show with the struggles of a child against an anarchic system and world and then went on to become a show about mixed doubles. And it couldn't be truer! After having an apparent love angle with Vivaan (Paras Babbar) and a constant love saga with Suraj (Vijayendra Kumeria) and another building up love story with Inspector Ajay (Sehban Azim), the girl has struck a hattrick. So, Sherlock (Benedict Cumberbatch
) may not have many friends except John, but Chakor has to say-
The viewers were rejoicing the track in Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi
when Ishwari finally accepted Dev and Sonakshi in the initial days of the show and then became the reason for their separation. This changed again recently, when she accepted the duo again and now there is news about some friction getting reborn as Ishwari will again feel similar things towards Dev and Sonakshi in the upcoming track. WHAATT?? That is being indecisive to a different extent, isn't it? While Hannah Baker from 13 Reasons Why may talk about turning 18 and asked to take the most important decision of her life, Ishwari is a legend in this case-
Well, I decided to treat this one rather differently. The backlash and flak for recently launched, Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?
continues to get worse and worse, where the show faced an unbelievable drop in the ratings this week. However, the makers and other people associated with the show maintain their stance about the casting of Shivani Tomar
aka Chandni opposite Barun Sobti
aka Advay. So, this one, I am sure the fans would love it when we think if Chandni would mouth Claire Underwood's short but impactful dialogue-
Shivaay Singh Oberoi (SSO) is a lot many things. Handsome, charming, righteous and also stubborn at times. However, one thing which not many would have noticed is how Shivaay is a really lucky man. Of course, because he has Anika (Surbhi Chandna
), but also, because the man has dodged a bullet a lot many times and come out alive and hearty. Yes, not exactly a lot many times, but certainly multiple times. So, Walter White (Bryan Cranston
) may announce his supremacy about being the one who knocks, Shivaay has a different thing to say for sure-
