India's first Netflix original web series, Sacred Games, was a huge hit among audience. The series featured ace Bollywood actors Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Saif Ali Khan and Radhika Apte in lead roles. It is based on novelist Vikram Chandra's novel by the same name and was hugely appreciated by not just Indian but global audience.
Well, Netflix has confirmed the second season of the series with a teaser and it is expected to release sometime around April. The news has kept audience highly excited and everybody is looking forward to it.
The latest we hear is that TV and film actor Joy Sengupta will be seen in the series. Joy has been part of TV shows like Waaris and Aarambh. The prolific actor is popular face in Bollywood, Bengali cinema and Hindi television.
According to media reports, Joy will be seen playing Anjali Mathur aka Radhika Apte's father in the show. He will be part of the chunk in the storyline and will take the story back to the time when Anjali was a teenager.
