Actress Harshita Gaur, who rose to fame after playing the lead role of 'Sanyukta' in Channel V's popular show 'Sadda Haq' opposite Param Singh, is on a career high after the success of her recent web-series 'Mirzapur'. Post 'Mirzapur', the talented actress has already bagged a role in the second season on Sacred Game' & according to latest reports she is now all set to make her Bollywood debut.

Reportedly, Harshita Gaur will be making her Bollywood debut alongside Ayushmann Khurrana's brother Aparshakti Khurrana who is currently hosting Sunil Grover's Star Plus show 'Kanpur Wale Khuranas'. In Ashish Aryan's next film, titled 'Kanpuriya', Aparshakti is playing the lead role whereas Harshita is reportedly in talks to play the female lead. It is not yet clear if Harshita will romance Aparshakti in 'Kanpuriya' but she'll be the only female lead in the film.
The film is expected to go on-floors in this month only & the script-reading sessions have reportedly started already.
Harshita is yet to confirm the news. However, she recently posted a boomerang video of a script as her Instagram story revealing that she has starting working on her next project without revealing any details about it. The video has been captioned as, "New Script! New character! New Journey!"
Speaking about the film, a source told an entertainment portal that, 'Kanpuriya' primarily revolves around three characters & Vijay Raaz will be seen playing the third important character along with Aparshakti & Harshita. The actor, who will next be seen playing Ranveer Singh's father in the much-awaited film 'Gully Boy', will be seen reuniting with his 'Stree' co-star Aparshakti in 'Kanpuriya'. However, not much is known about his character yet.
