The season of wedding is on a full swing. After Deepika and Ranveer, Nick and Priyanka, it's time for Kapil Sharma and his long time love Ginni Chatrath to tie the knot. The pre- wedding festivities have already begun and the couple is now set to embark upon a new journey together.

The wedding is supposed to be held in Kapil's hometown Jalandhar and after the initial Akhand Path the second ceremony too was held yesterday. In Punjabi custom, the chooda is considered very auspicious and is a part of the shagun in pre-wedding festivities.

As per the tradition, the bride's maternal uncle buys 21 set of bangles for the bride and after bathing them in milk and rose petals, he makes the bride wear them. The choodas are then covered with a white cloth till the day of the wedding. The bride can not see them as it's not considered auspicious.

However, in Ginni's ceremony she clicked many pictures with her chooda and was seen dancing too. She grooved to the beats and then danced her heart out on the smashing hit Punjabi number Bari Barsi. Have a look at the pictures and the video:

Ginni and Kapil will take the vows on 12th and afterwards they will hold two receptions, one in Jalandhar and the other one for Kapil's B-town friends in Mumbai.
