While Kapil Sharma is making a comeback on TV with the second season of 'The Kapil Sharma Show', his ex-colleague & friend (?) Sunil Grover too is set to be back with Star Plus' show 'Kanpur Wale Khuranas'. The promo of 'Kanpur Wale Khuranas' is already out and Bollywood actor Kunal Khemu was set to make his TV debut with Sunil Grover's show. But as per the recent developments, he is no longer a part of the Star Plus show and been replaced.
Reportedly, host & actor Aparshakti Khurrana (Ayushmann Khurrana's brother) has replaced Kunal Khemu in 'Kanpur Wale Khuranas'.
Show's producer Preeti Simoes confirmed the development to a leading daily and said, Kunal Khemu got his dates for the shooting of 'Kalank' climax and will be travelling to Hyderabad on 15th December for 10 days (i.e. till 25th). Since 'Kanpur Wale Khuranas' is a round-up of the year 2018, producers had to take a call before starting the shooting. And, hence the replacement took place yesterday on 4th.
Apparently, the makers were already in touch with Aparshakti to host the show if it gets an extension. But now he'll be a part of the show since the beginning. Aparshakti will also play the character of one of Sunil's saalas (brother-in-law) in the show.
Film director-choreographer Farah Khan too has joined the show and will be seen as Sunil Grover's padosan (neighbour) who dislikes him.
'Kanpur Wale Khuranas' also features popular names like Upasana Singh, Sugandha Mishra, Ali Asgar & Adaa Khan.Stay tuned for more updates!
