Vikas Gupta asked to leave Khatron Ke Khiladi 9 two weeks before finale

Ex-Bigg Boss Season 11 contestant Vikas Gupta is making headlines once again, as yet another controversy has shrouded him and it has cost Vikas dearly.

Vikas has been asked by the makers of Colors' Khatron Ke Khiladi 9 makers to exit the show as he hid his shoulder injury from them.

A leading daily has reported that Vikas has been asked to quit the show just when it is two weeks away from the grand finale. And the reason for the same is his shoulder injury, that he sustained during his stint in Bigg Boss Season 11.

The daily stated that Vikas had been performing his stunts exceptionally well, but with the help of pain killer injections to subside the pain. It was later discovered that the pain killers could shoot up his heart rate and when combined with intense physical activity, could prove to be fatal.

And the channel and makers, not willing to risk his life, asked Vikas to exit the show.

Our sources tell us that Vikas' injury was all healed and well when he'd signed Khatron... but they re-occurred when he started performing the stunts.

We also got to know, that host Rohit Shetty had grown fond of Vikas and was extremely irked with his behaviour and reprimanded Vikas for putting his life at risk for the show.

From what we hear, Vikas is back to Mumbai and all set to immerse himself in work.
