Star Plus may be going through some major programming changes right now, where multiple shows will be pulled off-air and Krishna Chali London and Mariam Khan - Reporting Live will be airing soon. But, it was the channel's set of shows last year that did wonders on the charts which even included some underdogs like Chandra Nandini.

One of the biggest risks that the show went through was shifting focus from Rajat Tokas and Shweta Basu Prasad to Siddharth Nigam and Avneet Kaur.

Fortunately, the young pair was loved as much, if not more. And guess what? If you were a fan of Siddharth Nigam and Avneet Kaur's pairing, you are in for a treat.

Both Siddharth and Avneet will be seen paired once again as the leads in Sab TV's upcoming fantasy show, Alaadin.

Produced by Peninsula Pictures, the show will be will be about the many adventures of the famous Alaadin, and the central character of Alaadin will be played by Siddharth Nigam.

Avneet will be paired opposite him playing the character of Yasmeen.

LOL what a joke IF.. CN went offair because of this good for nothing bindusaar story which was intolerable..the makers had to bring in CGM angle to get trps but all in vain..Rajat Tokas rocked with shweta in CN

Leap which introduced bindusaar story was the worst track and it destroyed the show which had decent trp before..Thats the power of Rajat Tokas..

what happened? the show doomed..reason bad scripting and haphazard dis organised story line. As usual Rajat was at his best..again they have to shift their attention to Rajat to finish it off. Be true to your comments

Shifting focus from Rajat Tokas and shweta was the worst decision and TRP went very much DOWN and the show had to go offair
Even to bring back the original decent TRP of CN..focus was brought back to Chandra and nandni..but it was too late.
