MTV India's Troll Police, hosted by Rannvijay Singha, is all about tracking down trolls and getting them to face the celebrities they trolled. The show is quite radical and has our curiosity. An upcoming episode will feature Prince Narula of Badho Bahu and Roadies fame dealing with a troll.

In a chat with India Forums, Prince revealed details of the episode. When asked what it's going to be about, he said, "A lot of TV personalities get trolled and it affects them negatively. I've had friends stay in and avoid going out because they've been so hurt. In the episode I will be confronted with a troll and he will be pretty angry initially. However, we made him realize his wrong-doings.

The technique the show suggests to confront trolls is rather unconventional. Prince says that the troll will be put to task, "We made him complete a small task, the way we did back in Roadies just to see how he can cope. This was done to prove that only I know how hard it was to get where I am and it's easy for trolls to pass comments." Showing him the difference was the only way out since he was using derogatory language.

Prince talked of Troll Police as a way of sending out a message and it only makes us wonder if it's the best solution. We've heard of celebrities responding to mean tweets in a series of funny jabs but none of it is taken personally. This show however, seems to encourage quite a defensive (or even aggressive) stance. To this Prince responded by saying that they reply in a defensive way when their sentiments are hurt and that's only natural.
