And TV is all set to jump onto the bandwagon of shows like Zee TV, Star Plus and Sony TV which have dance reality shows of their own, as the channel is all set to launch a dance reality show.
Titled High Fever... Dance Ka Naya Tevar, the show will be seeing real life family jodis like husband-wife, mother-daughter, father-son perform. And their journey will not be just about dancing, but also their personal relationship.
And choreographer Ahmed Khan has been roped in to judge the contestants for their dancing skills. The ace choreographer-turned-director was quoted by a daily as saying that he wanted to take up High Fever... as dancing in pairs was more of a challenge as there were more parameters to consider while judging pairs.
Apart from Ahmed Khan, the makers have roped in B-Town diva Lara Dutta. Speaking to Bombay Times, Lara was quoted as saying that she took up the show as she resonated' with the concept of two family members dancing. She also went on to reveal that she would be judging the contestant jodis on the basis of their relationship translating into their performance'.
