WHOA! This ex-'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' actress bags an 'illustrious' award

In today's time and age, the Indian Television industry is totally at par with its filmy counterpart Bollywood. With neck to neck competition in telly villa as well, it becomes tough to stand out and make a mark for thyself. Managing this tough feet is the very pretty actress, Umang Jain of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.

Umang started out very young in the entertainment industry. She is one of those actresses that the industry has literally seen grow. Today, Umang's enviable work profile includes 4 Films, 17 Television Shows (13 as a child actor and 4 as an adult), 350 Documentaries- Docudramas, Short films, Digital Content among other things.

Recently, Umang got her due when she received the esteemed "All India Achiever's Award".

When we got in touch with the actress, an elated Umang told us, "Yes, I got awarded in the category of performing arts for my contribution to Television and Cinema by AIAC (ALL India Achiever's Conference)"

Umang continued, "What makes this achievement special is that I got awarded along with the most charismatic dignitaries from varied fields, be it His excellency of The French Consulate or The Dupty Commissioner Of Income Tax, etc. I've been blessed to be awarded amongst such honorable personalities."
