This FILM actor will make his TV fiction debut with this pre-Mohenjo-Daro drama!

No one can deny that even though films are considered to bigger in terms of scale, production and mass appeal, TV has completely changed in the past few years.

Even stalwart film actors like Amitabh Bachchan and Anil Kapoor have worked in fiction TV shows, making the TV scenario huger than ever before.

While we keep witnessing several big-screen faces in small-screen reality shows, working in a fiction series is an altogether a different task.

And the latest to join this bandwagon is none other than actor, Rajniesh Duggal.

Rajniesh is best known for his films like '1920', 'Dangerous Ishq' and 'Ek Paheli Leela' among others.

However, he garnered further attention when he first appeared on small screen participating in the action-based stunt reality show, 'Khatron Ke Khiladi... Kabhi Peeda Kabhi Keeda' and even WON it.

And now, Rajniesh is all set to make his fiction TV debut with an upcoming series which is set in the pre-Mohenjo-Daro era.

Rajniesh will be playing the lead role of a warrior on the show, which falls under the historical fantasy genre.

The show is meant to be a finite series of 100 episodes and will be launching early next year.

Rajniesh has also learnt sword fighting and horse riding to get into the skin of his character.

The fashion of adapting films into TV shows seems getting bigger, where 'Bajirao Mastani' is set to be launched soon and now, 'Mohenjo Daro', the Hrithik Roshan starrer seems to have inspired this one.
