Islamabad, Sep 15 (IANS) Pakistan will again participate in the India International Trade Fair (IITF) in New Delhi, where it had the second largest pavilion last year.

The Export Promotion Bureau has officially asked the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry to arrange participation in the IITF, The Nation newspaper said.

The IITF holds 'great attraction' for Pakistani companies, the newspaper said.

The IITF to be held from Nov 14 to 27 in New Delhi has been an annual event since 1972.

Pakistan began participating in IITF as part of the people-to-people contact furthered by the two governments and its pavilion has been a big draw with visitors.

Dry fruits and designer clothes are popular with the buyers, while Pakistani exporters also come with several engineering goods and machine tools.

Interested investors belong to various sectors like textile, garments, home furnishing, interior designing, plastic goods, gems and jewellery, cellular phones, crockery and carpets.
