Kendrapada (Orissa), Nov 6 (IANS) An Indian crewmember was found dead in a Bahaman ship that arrived at Orissa's Paradeep port, police said Monday.
The body of Hawa Singh, 56 of Rohtak district in Haryana was recovered from M.V. Clipper Flamingo after its captain informed the port officials about the death before their arrival in the port area, R.K. Paikray, a senior official of the Paradeep police station, told IANS.
Singh was working as an electrical officer in the ship that came from California in the US.
'He died of heart attack Oct 27 in the ship near Singapore,' the captain told police.
Some of Singh's relatives arrived at Paradeep Monday to take away his mortal remains to Haryana.
