Chandigarh, Aug 26 (IANS) A high-level committee of the Haryana government Saturday cleared industrial investments totalling Rs.12.11 billion.
The committee cleared 23 projects of industrial investment at various industrial estates being developed in the state.
Financial commissioner for industries and commerce P.K. Chaudhary said the new investments would create jobs for over 3,000 people.
The units cleared will be set up in Gurgaon, Panipat, Faridabad, Bawal and Rai.
These will be in the fields of IT, readymade garments, home furnishings, automotive components, fibre-optics transmission systems, solar photo-voltaic modules and printing.
