You don't need to be RICH to be ROMANTIC

Romance is not about expensive honeymoons or extravagant vacations or diamonds and rubies for your loved ones
 
Indeed the essence of romance lies in the attention and the care you have for your loved one
 
More so, the expression of that attention, that care, that love is what one would say TRULY ROMANTIC
 
The expression of your love, the message that YOU CARE differs from person to person and it has NOTHING to do with monetary opulence
 

It could be in the form of a good morning kiss (this tells your partner that he/she is the first person you think of after waking up)
 
A few quiet moments in the arms of your loved one(sometimes just a hug is enough to express your love....you don't need a present or some other elaborate fancy to be romantic)
 
A small, simple note stating 'I love you' in the middle of the day (such a refreshing surprise, I swear!  It really boosts your spirits)
 
Waiting for your loved one to have supper(this one is an ultimate winner, not just in terms of physical connection but also emotional attachment)
 
Painting, cooking or writing for them (these gifts are much more meaningful than those fortune-splitting, wallet-emptying gifts)
 
• Stealing kisses or hugs in the middle of the night (thus communicating that even in your sleep, your loved one is all you can dream of!)

so true, and these things are more romantic than the expensive gifts anyhow.
