Excellent episode in ages………….one more new character added (very cute to look at!)
The episode begins with Dev dying in Disha's arms as she hugs him and weeps piteously for the Father whom she never knew. Ranu also breaks down crying and so does Suhas who realizes that Dev has paid for the mistake he made so many years back by sacrificing his life protecting Ranu. Suhas, Disha and Ranu go to the Police Station. Disha keeps crying and telling herself that in all these days she never got to know that Dev was her Father and that how unlucky she is to lose her Father for the second time (she meant first Vijendra and now Dev). Ranu offers support to Disha while Suhas keeps looking at Disha with a stony expression and sits besides her. The Inspector calls all the three of them and asks them the details of the incident and then asks Disha how is Dev related to her. Disha keeps quiet for a while and doesn't know how to react, then she opens mouth to say that Dev was her Father, but Suhas holds her hand and tells the Inspector that she is "Suhasnini Bhosale" and that Disha is her elder daughter and Ranu her younger one and that Dev was their distant relative. Ranu's face lights up as soon as Suhas says this and Disha is overwhelmed and looks at Suhas who gives a Motherly smile and holds Disha's hands with assurance and protection. {Beautiful scene, Suhas acts really well and Disha too was completely natural in this scene!)
In the next scene, the mysterious guy calls up Gargi on her cell phone and tells her that he botched up the job given by her. As a furious and dead-scared Gargi asks her what happened, he tells that he was trying to shoot Ranu as she had wanted, but Dev came in between and got killed. Gargi is furious with him and repeatedly asks him if he was seen by anyone, to which the guy is not very sure but tells Gargi that neither Ranu nor Disha had seen his face. Just then the Camera pans on this guys face, his name is "Faizal" or something, and Gargi calls him Faizi. He is a youngish guy, about Inder's age group, tall, well-built with a mop of unruly hair falling all over his forehead, giving him a boyish quality. We get to know that it was not Vedant with whom Gargi had been meeting over the past so many days, but Faizal, who is her boyfriend / lover.
In another scene, Anil and Vedant are in a meeting where Vedant in his quirky & eccentric style tells Anil that he knows that the account books of their Company has been tampered with and a lot of money has been siphoned off by someone. Anil is shocked and amazed at Vedant's quick observation and tried to avoid the issue, to which Vedant slyly says that he doesn't have to hide anything from him, as he knows everything about the Company inside out. Anil tells Vedant that he trusts him to keep all the information about the Company's balance sheet to himself and not let the auditors or the other partners of the Company get to know about it, to which Vedant gives a "We will see that, won't we" type of look and replies vaguely that he is there was that very purpose. Inder drops in and gets into an argument with Vedant and gets pretty irritated when Vedant refers to him as "Chill out Indy"! {BTW, Inder has colored the front strands of his hair in some obnoxious blonde-peroxide color and looks horrendous!}Inder accuses Anil of taking undue advantage of the trust bestowed on him by Vijendra and Anupam, to which an enraged Anil replies that Inder should just mind his own business, while an amused Vedant watches both of them. {I am kind of warming up to Vedant also, he seems to be really chilled out, though he tends to go overboard with his acting!) Ranu calls up Inder and tells him that someone tried to kidnap her and how Dev who is actually Disha's real father saved her and ended up dying. Inder is shocked to hear this and tells her that he is reaching the Police Station immediately.
Gargi, Suhas, Disha and Ranu are at the Kanaka House and are mourning for Dev with his Photo kept in the middle of the room and a garland over it. Disha is weeping away while Ranu and Suhas are sitting besides her quietly and offering her solace. Gargi is empathizing with Disha in her honey-coated, false manner and gently prods her to know whether Ranu, Disha or Suhas had seen the killers face to which all of them reply in the negative. Gargi is relieved to know that no one had seen Faizi & gets an evil smile on her face as she thinks that this is the perfect opportunity to trap DK in it. Sukanya also drops in and offers her phony condolences and discreetly confirms with Gargi that no one knows about both their involvement in this whole episode.
Just then, our hottie comes in looking so adorable and completely lost in his own thoughts. This was a lovely scene, DK comes inside but does not notice the ladies in white sitting and as he is about to go to his room, his eyes glance upon Dev's garland laden photograph and he is rooted to the ground. DK is unable to react for a while and in a strangled voice asks how did this happen. Disha, Ranu and Suhas are quiet and Gargi tells DK the whole story. DK still has the unbelievable expression on his face and his eyes get moist as he remembers telling Disha in a fury that for him Dev is as good as dead. His face clouds with a guilty expression and he then looks at Disha who looks back at him with tears in her eyes. Sukanya seizes this opportunity and tells DK in her irritating manner that "Jamai Babu, apko toh Disha nain bataya hi hoga, ki Deva uske Pita the." As soon as Sukanya says this, DK's eyes literally pop out and he looks at Disha again with a "WHAT" expression while Disha looks at him with a "Please don't misunderstand me" type of a look. DK is too shocked to react and just keeps staring at Disha who is now unable to look at him and then quietly walks back to his room.
Sukanya and Gargi go into a corner and in a devilish manner tell each other that the pawns they had laid have started playing their game on the Chessboard and that a Mahabharat is going to began between DK and Disha now that the truth is out. Gargi says that she can now initiate her plan to take control over DK's business and then Gargi smiles her ugly smile and tells a gleeful Sukanya that in this Mahabharat they both will play the role of Shakuni and tear DK and Disha apart forever.
