Bhoothnath

Amitabh Bachchan has an appetite for treading in areas that no one will dare to enter. In BR Film's Bhoothnath you would find him turning into a troubled ghost who develops a close bond with a child. Directed by Vivek Sharma, this unusual film also stars Shah Rukh Khan in a special guest appearance. If the picture above tells a tale, then this Men-n-Child-in-Black flick truly promises something different in the year 2008.

Maan Gaye Mughal E Azam

Can Mallika Sherawat be compared with morning-dew-fresh Madhubala? Well, 'Murder' babe is trying to realize her 'Khwahish' for she is all set the sway to Anu Malik's version of the classic Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya in writer-director Sanjay Chel's unusually titled Maan Gaye Mughal E Azam which is being produced by Venus Films. Mallika plays a theatre artiste, Rahul Bose a CBI officer, Kay Kay Menon a Ghazal singer and Paresh Rawal….Well….he has achieved the distinction of being the highest paid actor in this comic flick. Get ready for Sanjay Chel style jugglery-with-alfaaz! Maan Gaye

Krazzy 4

Starring Arshad Warsi, Irfan Khan, Suresh Menon and Rajpal Yadav, Krazzy 4 is Rakesh Roshan's foray in Production without holding the directorial baton. Superhit son Hrithik is turning an item boy with this film for he will sizzle to one of Uncle Rajesh Roshan's groovy tracks. This Raja Sen directed comedy promises to push the envelope when it comes to delivering sensible humour. Let's wait-n-watch (out) for these Krazzy folks!

Main Yuvraj

Subhash Ghai, the Pied Piper of Indian Cinema is zealously working on his next directorial venture Main Yuvraj starring Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Katrina Kaif and Zayed Khan. The opulent grandeur in the First Look of the film is simply stunning. Even though you're merely looking at the picture, but you could easily hear Rahman's symphonic mellifluous brilliance filling your ears. And, who's the Yuvraj? Well, that's the mystery Ghai wants you guys to unravel. Definitely one of the most eagerly awaited films of the year.

Dulha Mil Gaya

If a film has Shah Rukh Khan's name attached to it, then there's every reason for it to be termed as Big. Mudassar Aziz's directorial debut Dulha Mil Gaya has SRK in an important role while Sushmita Sen and Fardeen Khan play the main lead. This humorous take on relationships is set in Trinidad and both Sush and Fardeen are looking smoking hot. So, who's the Dulha? We guess there's a choice between the two Khans. What do you say!

Money Hai Toh Honey Hai

Choreographer Ganesh Acharya's next directorial venture Money Hai Toh Honey Hai promises to be a full-on commercial caper. What everyone is talking about is Govinda's pairing with Aap Ka Surroor star Hansika and how 'good' the two will look opposite each other considering their age difference. The film also stars Aftab Shivdasani, Celina Jaitley, Kim Sharma, Upen Patel and Manoj Bajpai. Let's see if this Honey makes loads of Money at the Box Office unlike Acharya's debut Swami.

Love Story 2050

Hunky debutante Harman Baweja is all set to make the biggest debut of 2008 with Sci-Fi style flick Love Story 2050 where he is paired with Priyanka Chopra. Lavishly shot in breathtaking locales in Australia and USA, this Love Story will find Chopra babe in a double role. Music for the film has been given by Anu Malik while noted wordsmith Javed Akhtar has written the lyrics. Hey Future…..here comes our man, Her-Man….Harman!

Kismet Konnection

Jab Shahid and Vidya met, there had to be some connection…oops Konnection! Well, everybody is talking about the groovy romance brewing between the two since the time they started shooting for Aziz Mirza's romantic comedy Kismet Konnection. If the picture above is anything to go by then this duo makes for one adorable couple (on screen or otherwise). With Mirza's tender humour and a tinge of melodious music as the perfect garnishing, this Konnection has a bright Kismet at the ticket window. After all, both Shahid and Vidya have super hits behind them.

Directed by Satish Kaushik, the music for this romantic comedy has been given by Himesh Reshammiya and will be one of the Big highlights of the film. We are sure the whole world is eagerly looking forward to the crackling chemistry of Shahid-Kareena. Can't wait for the release date guys!

Pankh

Bipasha Basu credibly proved her acting prowess with Madhur Bhandarkar's Corporate. She is daring to experiment once again with Sudipto Chattopadhyay's Pankh, a film about gender confusion in a child's mind. Bipasha is playing a Bollywood star in the film and in a recent interview with IndiaFM she had admitted that Pankh is a film she is excited about. Let's see if it generates excitement and curiosity amongst audiences as well.

Singh Is Kinng

Akshay Kumar is having a dream run at the Box Office. One of the sure shot hits in his kitty in the year 2008 is speculated to be Anees Bazmee directed Singh Is Kinng where gorgeous Katrina Kaif is paired opposite the Jubilee Kumar. Celebrated director Vipul Shah will be seen in the role of a producer of this lavishly landscaped film. Shot in the salubrious Gold Coast in Australia besides other locations, Singh Is Kinng is one film to look forward to.

Wanted Dead And Alive

The breathtaking backdrop perfectly compliments the dazzling first time pairing of Salman Khan with Ayesha Takia in this First Look of Boney Kapoor's Wanted Dead And Alive (A remake of South super hit Pokhiri). Directed by dancing sensation Prabhudeva (The original version was directed by Puri Jagannath in Telugu while Prabhudeva remade it in Tamil), this hugely mounted film is about an undercover cop's tryst with mafia. Music by Sajid-Wajid is definitely going to be a plus point considering their last outing Partner with Salman is still blaring from all quarters. Wanted….At the earliest!

Tashan

The screenplay writer of mega hits like Dhoom and Dhoom 2, Vijay Krishna Acharya will be making his directorial debut with cool-dude-attitude style flick aptly titled Tashan. While Saif Ali Khan and Akshay Kumar will hog the 'action', Kareena Kapoor will covet the glam-doll-moments. Anil Kapoor, reveling in the super reviews for his gun-toting ways in Welcome will be seen in a negative role. Another cute little feature of Tashan will be the debut of Saif's son Ebrahim who will be playing his screen son. So, are you ready for the flaring fire between Saif-Kareena? Maybe the famous love-'bites' will be a thing of the past

Karzzz

He is a rare phenomenon. For whatever he does, turns into gold. Himesh Reshammiya after making a splashing debut with Aap Ka Surroor is ready to return the Karzzz of the masses with the Remake of Subhash Ghai's magnum opus which is being produced by numero uno music label T Series. While the actress for Tina Munim's role is yet to be penciled in, Urmila Matondkar in all probability will be essaying Simi Garewal's part in this Satish Kaushik thriller. A potential musical blockbuster… Don't you think!

Ugly Aur Pagli

Mallika Sherawat has a subtle flair for comedy while Ranvir Shourie is one of the most improved actors around. The two have been paired in Sachin Khot's Ugly Aur Pagli and if the first look is anything to go by then there's lots 'cooking-under-the-blanket' or so it seems. This PNC film is touted to be an intelligent comedy, something similar to Pyaar Ke Side Effects. If all the ingredients are mixed in the right amounts, this one has a pretty good chance of pleasing the multiplex crowd.

PS: A steamy Mallika number will whet your fantasy-prone-mind like never before.

U Me Aur Hum

Ajay Devgan, a National Award winning actor is an extremely good student of cinema. It's obvious when he decided to take a plunge in direction with a romantic film U Me Aur Hum, there's bound to be loads of curiosity. Moreover with a super performer like Kajol by his side, there's an added value to the product much before it has been released. Another definite attraction will be Vishal Bharadwaj's surprise-worthy music score. U Me Aur Hum….Hmmmm….Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha!
