INGREDIANTS:
kabuli channa................200gms
ginger garlic paste.........2tbsp
onion paste........3tbsp
tomatoe puree...........3tbsp
mushrooms................200gms
oil...4-6tbsp
curry powder.......2tbsp
green chillies(chopped)..........2
salt..........to taste
METHOD
soak the channas in water overnight and then cook on a pressure cooker with salt to taste till tender but not overcooked. Slice the onions and fry in oil till golden brown.Grind together the onions and 2 tbsp of boiled channas to a fine paste. heat the oil and fry this paste together with the ginger and garlic paste till golden brown. mix in the tomatoe puree and the spices and fry for 2 minutes. mix in the mushrooms and boiled channas,stir well.add 1 cup of water and cover with a lid and cook over medium heat till all the water has eveporated. stir fry adding a little more oil if required till the preparation is dry. serve with roti.. 😉
