Erm i jus found some piks of Hana Kimi (Jap Version).It looks FAB cant wait fo it to come outt!! Maki looks funnny.Some how i cant stop comparing her to the girl from taiwanese adaption.And somehow i feel that the girl in tawainese drama looked more boyish then Maki does! Anyhow, will wait to see the drama to judge her.!😃

oooh i can't wait! maki looks awesome! 😃

i think maki is definately looking the part more than ella....ella looked a little butch for the role (mind u i absolutely loved ella..) but i think maki will pull the manga look much better.....shes a great actor (watch Nobuta wo Produce or Kurosagi to find out) so i think she'll do full justice to the role😃

oguri might be at a slight disadvantage given that hes shorter and less athletic looking than wu zun, hmm but hes got the suave school boy thing going, so he might just bring a new twist to the character created by wu zun...this ones going to be hard since oguri is competing against wu zun (okay mayb just for me😆)

as for toma, hes got BIG shoes to fill....i know we shudnt compare the two shows, but obviously theres going to be unconscious comparisons..the role played by Jiro was just amazing, i dont think i can imagine neone being as funny and natural in a comedie role as Jiro and thats why this role is going to be the most scrutinized i think for me.....toma better one hell of a joker to crack me up as much as jiro did😆

@sweethoney: i agree maki looks more "girlier" but i think thats the point, i found that ella looks a bit too boyish in the tw version, whereas maki pulls off the "pretty boy" look more convincingly....well see how her acting is though, ella did a gr8 job in tw version, from what ive watched with maki, i know shes awesome, so im really waiting for this one

i think i agree, i found ella too boyish and prefer maki's girlie look (based on manga). i don't know while i can find nothing wrong in tw version, it left me dissatisfied....it failed to capture the progression of feelings in manga. the male lead starts with curosity....goes to friendliness and protectiveness and then starts on love. similarily female initially is there to see her idol but gradually develops love for the male lead (sano).
