PRANTIK SUR (23 yrs)
Place: Chandan Nagar, Hooghly - 712136
Tidbit: Prantik's mother wanted to learn music & she also bought a harmonium. But, could never use it & it lay in a corner gathering dust. When prantik was born, he learnt music and also how to play harmonium. Prantik is now living his mothers dream.
TANUSHREE BANERJEE (19 yrs)
Place: Khanpur Road, PO-Naktala, Kolkata-47
Tidbit: Tanushree's family is not economically sound. She wants to prove through ASVOI that a girl who is not from a strong economic background can also make it big contrary to the popular belief that only rich people become big.
RAVI SHUKLA(23 yrs)
Place: Shanti Nagar, Liluah, Howrah - 711204
Tidbit: Ravi comes from a family that runs its own business. His parents have been the push behind his participating in ASVOI. Unlike most parents who want their kids to follow their path & continue the family business, Ravi's father wants him to become a singer.

SAYANTANI DAS (19 yrs)
Place: PNB Staff Col, Dr Rajendra Prasad Rd, Durgapur - 713205
Tidbit: Sayantani's dad is an excellent keyboard player. He could not pursue his dream and took up a job in a bank, as he had to support the family. Sayantani thinks that it's her responsibility to make her dads dream come true.
ROHIT SONAR (22yrs)
Place: Chapakhoora, Sadiya, Tinsukia District, Assam - 786157
Tidbit: Rohit comes from a village where is not even a railway line. No one in his village knows about music. Rohit wants to put his little village on the world map through ASVOI.
RANDEEP CHOWDHURY (25 yrs)
Place: Cochar, Silchar, Assam-7
Tidbit: When other kids played outside, Randeep as a child, used to sing. Randeep has only thought of music all his life. It's his 'tapasya'... That's what he says.

Episode 3: The details of the 6 selected contestants from Indore (Not sure why Abhas's name is missing here😕)
AANCHAL KHURANA
Place: E-46, Saket Nagar, Indore
Tidbit: Her family runs a bakery. No one had anything to do with music. Then Aanchal came along, blessed with a voice that was as sweet as the icing on chocolate cake, baked by her grandfather. She has given up her MBA course for ASVOI.
IRA SHARMA
Place: 343, 103-Scheme, Keshar Bagh Road, Indore
Tidbit: No one in Ira's family has learnt music. Thanks to her father, who spotted her musical talent. She began learning Hindustani Classical Music. Now, she is working hard to make her father's dream come true. Looks like she's on the road already as Aadesh Shrivastava has promised to make her sing one of his compositions.
KARISHMA KINI
Place: 2, Tukaram Niketan, Bhagat Road, Mahim, Mumbai-16
Tidbit: She had come to Indore to attend a cousin's wedding when she saw the audition promos for ASVOI on Star Plus. She decided to try her luck and succeeded. Aadesh Shrivastava was so impressed with her, when she sang 'Baghban' on stage, that he came up on stage to bless her. Karishma has been learning classical music and her parents who are clueless about music, have been learning from her.
ANIRUDH BHOLA
Place: 453, Napier Town, Gorakhpur, Jabalpur MP
Tidbit: Lady Luck was on Anirudh's shoulder on the day of the audition, which is probably why he made it into the show. According to the judges, his performance had many errors but what sailed him through to the studio round was his natural talent. Abhijeet said that he had to be reprimanded a lot to come into form. Today, Anirudh is working very hard to win the hearts of the jury.
SUPRIYA PATHAK
Place: G2 - 206, Gulmohur Marg, Bharat Nagar, Bhopal MP
Tidbit: A BA Music student, she is a huge fan of music from the Golden Era. Each and every member of her family has been supportive of her interest in music. They all gathered at the audition and watched her performance with moist eyes. She realizes that she has a lot of expectations to live upto, a lot of dreams to make true.
SANCHARI BOSE
Place: 3-B, Janaki Nagar, Baldev Marg, Jabalpur
Tidbit: This 4' 11" wonder, with large innocent eyes, walked up on stage during her audition & left the judges speechless. She sang "Hawa Hawai" without blinking her long lashes or shaking her head. When asked how she could sing such a mastibhara gaana without shaking her head, she said, 'Sar hilane se, sur hil jaate hai.' Nothing matters to her except music.

Episode 4: The details of the 3 selected contestants from Mumbai
SUSHIM DEY
Place: Jubilee Home Hostel, Bangalore
Tidbit: When Sushim came to Mumbai to audition, he was scared. Not because he was not confident but because he had been warned by his hostel mates that they would ban his entry into the hostel if he didn't get selected. Sushim has not let them down. The proof: Abhijeet complimenting him saying that Sushim's was the only voice that sounded like a hero.
PRANTIKA MUKHERJEE
Place: 18, Plot 39, Sundar Bhavan Society, SVT Nagar,Mhada, Andheri West
Tidbit: Her mother wanted to learn music but couldn't because of family problems. She got married and began living a monotonous life. However, she never stopped dreaming about music. Which is probably why Prantika is born with a melodious voice. Prantika respects the gift given to her by God & is glad that this opportunity came along as she can now make her mother's dream come true.
AMITABH NARAYAN
Place: Sondho House, Tanurchak Road, Muzafarpur, Bihar
Tidbit: Amitabh's idol is his father (an advocate) who went through a lot of struggles to come to where he is today. Amitabh has been struggling for a year in Mumbai, doing stage shows, to get an entry into the musical world. His family, however, has been very patient and have supported him in every possible way. He feels that ASVOI would give him recognition
