Sakshi reached home.Her daughter Pihu was staring at her.
SAKSHI:My God!She is so angry.
Sakshi caught her ears:Sorry Pihu...I will tell you a good story.
Slowly Pihu smiled.Sakshi became happy and lifted her up in her arms.
She told her a story and Pihu fell asleep.
Sakshi's mother Rano entered the room.
R:Sakshi...how is Arjun?
SAKSHI:He is fine.
R:Did you tell Arjun about Pihu?
SAKSHI:Yes.
Rano was surprised:How did he react?
SAKSHI:I told him that my husband is in the Gulf.
Rano was shocked:Why did you lie to him?
SAKSHI:Mumma...Arjun may be leading a happy married life.I know Sameera.She is a sweet girl.Very down to earth though she is rich.If i tell him the truth about Pihu he will even regret marrying Sameera as he can't see tears in his best friend's eyes.I don't want his married life to get spoiled because of me.And Sameera deserves a happy married life.

Sakshi decorated the house with glittering particles as it was Pihu's birthday.
Pihu woke up from the bed.Sakshi hugged her:Happy birthday darling...
P:Thank you mumma...
Sakshi gave her a Barbie doll.
P:So sweet.Sweet mumma.
She kissed Sakshi.
Rano came:Happy birthday Pihu beta...
Rano kissed Pihu giving her chocolate.
Pihu hugged her:Thank you Nani...

Pihu was waiting to taste the yummy cake which was kept on the table.
Suddenly Arjun came.
Sakshi and Rano were shocked.
SAKSHI:Arjun!
Arjun smiled.He kissed Pihu's cheeks.
ARJUN:Happy birthday Pihu...
He gave her a big teddy bear.
P:Wow!Thank you Uncle.
Pihu looked at Sakshi:Mumma...who is this uncle?
SAKSHI:He is mumma's Boss.
ARJUN:I am your mumma's best friend.
Arjun looked at Sakshi and smiled.Sakshi never expected him to tell that to Pihu.
P:Really?How sweet!
SAKSHI:How did you know that today is Pihu's birthday?
ARJUN:Though you applied for leave you did'nt tell me the correct reason for taking leave.But i came to know the reason from the other staffs.It was not fair Sakshi.You hid your daughter's birthday from your best friend.
Sakshi was finding it difficult to face him.

SAKSHI:Sorry Sir...
ARJUN:Oh Sakshi...at least here you call me Arjun.I am longing to hear you call me 'Arjun' like before.I miss my best friend Sakshi.
Sakshi looked at him emotionally.
Arjun smiled:Never call me Arjun Sir.Ok?

Arjun looked at Rano:How are you aunty?How is your health?
R:I am fine beta.
Rano said in his mind:I will be fine only if i see Sakshi with you Arjun.
P:Mumma...Nani...let me cut the cake?I can't control...
They all smiled.
R:Cut the cake Pihu.
Sakshi held Pihu's hand and cut the cake singing 'Happy birthday...'
Sakshi fed her cake.Pihu fed her back.Pihu put the cake piece in Rano's mouth.
ARJUN:Pihu...won't you feed me?
Pihu fed him cake cheerfully.Arjun fed her back.
P:Uncle..i liked you very much.
ARJUN:I also liked you very much beta...
Sakshi looked at them emotionally.
Sakshi thought:This is blood relation.Father-daughter relationship.Tht's why destiny made Arjun see his daughter.
ARJUN:Ok...then i am going Sakshi.
SAKSHI:Ok...
ARJUN:Bye aunty...
R:Bye Arjun.
Arjun kissed Pihu:Bye Pihu.
P:Bye uncle.
R:Arjun...one day you come with your wife for dinner.
Sakshi never expected Rano to invite Arjun and Sameera home.It was a shock for her.She can't stand Arjun with Sameera infront of her.
ARJUN:With my wife?It will be very difficult.
R:Why?
ARJUN:Because i don't have a wife to accompany me.
They were shocked.
SAKSHI:What?Then Sameera?
ARJUN:Oh!You thought i married Sameera?No...i did'nt marry her.Because...you are right Sakshi.You can read my mind and see what i can't see in myself.What i felt for Sameera was not love,it was just an infatuation.So i did'nt marry her.
Arjun went away leaving Sakshi in shock.She was numb.Rano was happy.
R:Sakshi...Arjun is still unmarried.Still he cares for you.That's why he gave you a job and came here for Pihu's birthday celebration without getting invited.He must have realized that his true love is you.
Sakshi became emotional.She felt very happy after a long time.Her face blossomed like a red rose.

She went to her bed and refreshed her memories about Arjun.He remembered their friendship days and their intimate moments on beach.

She sang as her heart was filled with the joy of love.
Her mind was full of Arjun while singing:

Suddenly her face became dull.Her eyes got filled up with tears.Rano came.
R:Sakshi...you should tell Arjun that you love him.Also that Pihu is the symbol of your love for him.
SAKSHI:No mumma...i can't...
R:Why?
SAKSHI:How can i tell him that Pihu is his daughter as he does'nt remember those moments which made us closer to each other?If i tell him will he believe me?Since i lied to him about my marriage and husband if i tell him that i was lying i don't know how he will react.
R:But Sakshi...
SAKSHI:No mumma...please don't dream about our reunion.Because it may never get fulfilled as your daughter is very unlucky.
Rano burst into tears.Sakshi hugged her and cried.
