- Shaan arrives for the kaali puja. He tells ridoy asmita has quit her job.
- Chanda talks tearfully to deceased thakumaa's pic and says she is only alive only in the hope that one day beauty will let me free a man who has been counting his last breaths for years. Who was she talking about? Arindham maybe? I feel Arindham is with Chanda, but that's weird and why did she say she's waiting for the day beauty will let her free that man? Strange.
- Shaan recalls what actually happened. There's a flashback where puchki is doing some decorating on a ladder, when shaan walks in and is staring at her. The lights go out and she falls from the ladder only to be caught by shaan. Puchki is in shaan's arms and they have a long eyelock, which breaks when the lights come back on. He puts her down but shaan's eyes are still on her and meet her gaze and so do hers. They're boh tangled together in fairy lights. As they try and break free shaan requests her abruptly to leave the club. He refuses to give her an explanation why. She taunts him for being an employer who is firing his employee without any fault. In the real world employers like shaan and in other indian serials would be done for harassment for the way they treat the female lead who works for them, but in ITV they have their own kind of law. He says that as compensation he will get her an even better job somewhere else. She refuses and reminds him that in the contract if her boss wants to fire her then it requires a 3 month notice before she can be fired. He offers her 3 months salary. He leaves saying this is his final offer and decision. FB ends.
- He thinks that although he told her to leave clearly, he decides to still check once. He looks for her but can't find her and thinks she agreed.
-He tells ridoy to move to london with him, and he'll get lots of girls there for him who will be the best of the best. He says to shaan that he loves asmita truly, so he doesn't want the best girl, he just wants asmita.
- Ridoy cries to nivi that the girl he loves left. Nivi blames shaan like always.
- Ridoy starts venting his anger on the staff at the party and throws a plate of flower petals, and as they fall, puchki appears, as shaan watches puchki enjoying the shower of rose petals over her. Shaan and ridoy are in awe. She looks really pretty in that bengali style draped light blue blouse and light green embroidered saree which is a little different from the typical white and red that they show in serials for bengali women. Shaan then strides over to her angrily and says that he requested her to leave. She reminds him about the three months notice which she has decided to reject and will not leave. According to the contact he can't just get rid of her on his own whim she tells him, and tells him to give her a three month notice but he can't just kick her out all of a sudden. Ridoy tells her he is happy to see her because shaan told him she had quit her job.
- Shaan is introduced heartily to the guests by ravidra much to nivi's chagrin. He gives credit to the business reaching new heights and being responsible for their business to shaan. Ravindra announces that asmita will be giving a performance in honour of shaan, and shaan is shocked to hear this, whilst he looks and can't see her, as she is gone to prepare for the performance. Some burkha clad woman is hiding and looking at shaan.
-Puchki is getting ready in a new change of clothes and is wearing a typical yet very gorgous bengali style white and red blouse saree with lovely gold embroidery. Shaan comes in. He closes the door angrily behind him and she asks him what is he doing. He asks her why she came back but she refuses to answer.
Precap: Puchki is dancing beautifully whilst the burkha woman is shown hiding, and puchki's blouse from the back completely opens up, YIKES! Shaan is shocked seeing this and comes to her rescue and grabs her whilst dancers accidentally and unintentionally save her by wrapping her with a dupatta, as everyone including beauty look on in confusion. Shaan holds her face in his hands and they have an eye lock.
