If writers have amnesia than the actors should remind them. Whey are they so dumb?

I thought when Sarla broke off the engagement Preeta, Shristy and Dadi all there were right there listening to the conversation at least Sarla's part. But I believe Preeta forgot all about that. Yesterday specially she acted like she has some feelings for Prithvi. DIsgusting dumbness of Preeta. 

These two are still together after months. 

How Prithvi is invited to every event he has no business at is completely puzzling to me. This story gets more and more ridiculous.
