The episode begins with Prerna opening the door to welcome Mukherjee uncle, the lawyer of Bose family .. she is veru familiar with him , greets him happily .
He appears serious and does not smile back at Prerna despite her excitement in seeing him . He hands her a letter for her dad n leaves .
She opens the letter and is shocked to read they have to evict the house withing one day , her dad was thrown out of his job for irregularities in finances . She recollects how mohini aunty was capable of all this as stated by her mom .. she recollects how her dad wa so emotional and possessive to this house as it ws his parent's blessing to him.
At office nivedita reprimands Rajesh unnecessarily over puja pandal expenses, threatens to throw him out of his job .. .Rajesh replies politely ..he was given one and half crores but he spent only one . He saved half crores , nivi should be thankful . Nivedita tries to complain to her dad Moloy against Rajesh but he scolds niv n asks her to apologize to Rajesh . Nivi asks rajesh to be careful in future .

At Basu mansion Mohini vouches to avenge her insult by Prerna's family for declinig her brother's hand in marriage to Pre , she assures Navin they wil bow down before him. .
As Anu is driving his car ... he notices Prerna running madly on Howrah bridge, he honks to attarct her attention but she does not notice .
Anurag is going for canoeing in the river .
Prerna barges into Basu mansion ...she argues with Mohini over the delay in loan repayment . Mohini taunts that she thought of wavering it if Prerna married her bro Navin.
But that too was turned down .and Mohini was insulted .
Now only prerna could save her family from living on the streets , she requests if she could talk to Navin ji . mohini replies he was at Howrah bridge
Prerna speaks to Navin as he is found taking selfies on Howrah bridge ,they talk standing on the bridge .. She asks if he still wanted to marry her . he says with excitement rushing thru him eying her top to toe ..that he wanted to marry her , she asks if he could remove all the troubles in her life , Navin assures all her financial troubles will be taken care of forever after their marriage , Prerna with teary eyes hands over her entire life to Navin.
Navin holds her hands tightly. He caresses her with lust, he touches her all over lusting for her, he stares at her with lustful eyes .
Prerna feels dirty ..she agrees to have the first rasam of bengali marriage soon . Adaan pradaan .the next day . prerna agrees only if he did not go back on his promises .
Prerna feels sad that despite being well educated she never had imagined she would be selling her own life for the sake of her family . She is ready to do this for her family . She bangs her hands with disgust an anger . a coin falls off from her bracelet and drops into the river below ..e ... It lands on Anurag's canoe ,, he looks up ...he picks up,that coin ...it a a "Queen Elizabeth coin" He decides to make a wish with that coin ..he wonders what to ask for .. he recollects how prerna told him about the magical thing called love . he did not believe in love but wished for something that was impossible and magical and out of this world . And he throws it into ganges river...he smiles to himself .
Prerna is standing on the bridge and her dupatta gets stuck , she frees it and notices the ripples of a coin falling into the waters .. she realizes some one making a wish prays for his wishes to be fulfilled .she leaves in depressed state thinking her own wishes would never be fulfilled now ..
At Sharma house Prerna's mom looks for Pre but they do not find her . Anurag arrives at sharma house , he wants to take his book from Prerna . Veena rudely asks her FIL to get the book from prerna's room .
He feels uncomfortable by their behaviour towards him he feels something major must have happened to make them behave this way . As he leaves he collides with Prerna , he finds her not as friendly towards him as earlier . Anu leaves .
Veena sharma angrily slaps Prerna for agreeing to marry Navin .Rajesh too is shocked to hear Prerna 's decision .
Veena shouts madly ...How dare she agree to that allaince . Prerna thinks she better make her family feel this was her decision And not black mailed by Mohini .
Veena asks her forcibly if she was forced by any one , pre denies .
Rajesh too asks her if she agreed to this allaince sacrificing for her family .was she trying to mend the rishta with basus after the sourness as theu refused her rishtaa ?? Pre denies .veena is furious with Pre .
Pre lies to them that she dreamt for luxurious life , she was sure her family would not be able to provide all those to her all their life . She had accepted this allaince for her own happiness, for fulfiling her own dreams . Veena slaps her angrily
Rajesh calms Veena and scolds her . Prerna's brothers n sister are shocked to hear Pre talking this way .
Veena says she had insulted her family by accepting this allaince .Rajesh prevents Veena from hitting her grown up daughter this way .
Pre shouts that she had grown up now and had taken a decision they should respect it .
Rajesh n veena feel hurt that she had chosen this rishtaa for herself . Rajesh wishes her happiness. They will no more worry how they will live after her vidaayi as they had always feared ..

Navis asks Anurag if all was OK at home as he notices Anu looking unhappy over something .
Prerna weeps and shares her woe with Anurag .
Anurag tells Prerna that he was happy with her decision to get married , he hoped she got married to the guy of her dreams .he himself did not believe in love .
