Nithya asking about this now is very unnecessary, and definitely she was instructed by VijayTV. At that time Aish was lashing at Mahath, Shariq, Rythwika, Ponnambalam, Sendrayan as well. So they were confused what to do either. Jan did try to stop her, but Danny said to let her be. If at all Nithya wanted to question someone for standing idle it should be Mumtaj, Yashika, and Danny. Even Mumtaj was helping cleanup after the incident so it's not like she did nothing. And it was Yashika's and Danny's instructions to Aish to be as brutal as possible.

I think Nithya wanted someone to physically grab Aish and stop her. We all know what happened to Pons later when he tried the same. This show is sometimes confused what it wants its contestants to do...
