actually shaheer denied kzk2 and took mea and shaheerwas ekta first choice after denying shaheer al l the actors have considered above 30they did not look good with erica after that parth has considered  may be he looked good with erica and finalized after that ek tweeted like this because ek knew shaheer  erica chemistry and wanted to cast erica shaheer for kzk2 because they  were fit for this love story
