They say one grows and learns from adversity. Under the present situation and historically too, it was Zoya who was seen as the porcelain doll who would go weak at the knees .Become unsteady, fluster, crumble at any visible sign of changes to her way of life. Right from the moment she lands in Mumbai ,her initiation began! She met Aditya, in many ways different from her but in one way alike. Through their similar and ill connected infamous pasts. Strong emotional reactions towards each other came from both sides. But their reactions we see, didn't kill either of them to this day. Instead within both Adi and Zoya resonates an obdurate clout to confront all that makes them weak kneed! Some how both make it ashore from the stormy waves.
Whereas Aditya grew up in an absent father scenario. He further breaks under the strain of Pooja's betrayal and now a fresh emotional shock confronts him. His dead wife also carried Yash child. Yash the dead husband of his friend Zoya the martyr! Arjun's absence too nearly kills him . His brother follows Zoya and is all set to ruin his law career.
But out of the two, Zoya shows more signs of frailty. Its Zoya who is deemed to be unfamiliar with the harsh ways of the real world, due to her cloistered life. She is the one to be seen as the one who lacks resolve. Zoya the wispy rich girl easily swayed and frightened into a corner like a weak baby.But recent invasion of heart rendering adversities and negativity; Alongside Adi's destined and timely intervention in her life has made her more assertive than she was ever before. How she validates herself against stiff opposition, in her drive to reopen Yashs case. She shows she has the spirit, to bring about changes that are beneficial, not just for the Arora's, but sets Adi and herself free eventually too. but we also see on and off that Zoya does fall under the pressure of lacking motivation and resolve. More so where offending Aditya is concerned. But she tends to bounce back soon. Recently, Zoya faces up to her weakness! that Yash regretfully, whom she was drawn towards blindly, remains a weak spot in her life, It's bad enough that she finds it hard to tell her parents that the man for whom she left her parents, fathered Pooja Hoodas child! Still Zoya deep down within herself, finds it emotionally quite hard to forget that Yash, her husband, her love, in a weak moment with Pooja Hooda, showed no resistance but much willingness! To part ways from Zoya to set up his own life with a woman of his choice..
Weighed down by her tremendous hurt, she tries with much strength to smother the wail of a woman wronged! The time to face reality dawns! Its time now, to wipe away the tears and gather evidence to substantiate in court that Pooja and Yash loved each other. Pooja's pregnancy was proof enough to show that Yash wasn't using her. Both were striving to start a family.
The reality of life is that despite the disorders, disturbances and disasters that Adi and Zoya suffer, after darkness, a new day does dawns.Life carries on. Mahi looks for a venue, for her mothers convalescence. Makes good use of an opportunity to taste the good life! Waseem gets the chance to show the Arora's what lifestyle their daughter Zoya really hailed from. She was no scum! Like she was treated by the Aroras. Or may be as a father he shows hospitality to Yash's mother and sister, to win over Zoya's trust? I suspect he is beginning to recognize that even though Zoya appears strong in the main. Inside she breaks into a million pieces. It was a father who begs Dr. Inayat with folded palms for her to give Zoya the much needed evidence of Pooja's pregnancy report.
Zoya may look like a zombie, phased out by the Pooja's pregnancy . but behind closed doors in her room. She purges her grief before the replica version of the man himself who betrayed her. His betrayal she uses to strengthen her flaw of weak resolve! Thanks to Yash, it helps her to do away with her weakness to combat any amount of emotional trauma. She builds on her grief.Will show Yash that weak kneed Zoya will be the one to clear the stigma off Pooja's murderer! from his name. She will pay back the dirt that he smeared her on her, with an ablution that will wash away all blemishes hurled against both him, Pooja and their baby, that never was..
It's like the more she smarts, the more Zoya desires to do the right thing. Her sorrow gives her the positive energy to express her inherent sincerity and loyalty to people that matter to her.
Zoya realizes Madhu has the right to known about Pooja's pregnancy .This right wins Zoya a place as a daughter in the Arora household. After Yash's death, she felt vulnerable and homeless for most part of her bereavement. One can say Zoya, too works hard to correct the wrongs she committed as a failed wife. Many tears she shed to wash away her guilt that led to her husband going astray. Madhu, considers Zoya to be an extraordinary wife who puts being betrayed by her husband aside to redeem his love with Pooja. Madhu compliments the parents who bore a selfless daughter like Zoya.
News about Pooja's pregnancy travels fast. Noor briefs Arjun, who in turn breaks the news to Sakshi . It breaks her heart as a mother, how she wasn't there for her daughter.. times seem to be blamed by her. Arjun wants her to elucidate. But Sakshi holds her piece! but does tell Arjun she will reveal all in time.. before all the family. So the plot continues to thicken.
Zoya feels strongly about revealing Pooja's pregnancy report to Adi too, before he gets to hear it in court. Waseem tries to dissuade her! makes her realize Aditya Hooda is the one she fights. The evidence she has, is to prove the Hooda's defamation wrong. But this time Zoya will not be silenced by her father, this time she tells him loud and clear that Adi is still a friend for her. One who bailed her out of many hopeless situations. Stood like a strong fortress , and protected her life against many perils! No way will she stab him in the back. She will show Adi the report up front, so he is prepared before hand to face the shock waves she had to face.
Adi too like Zoya suffers from emotional strain. Meeting him is going to be far from easy. Anjana is militant when Zoya shows up at Hooda house verbally discourages Zoya an audience with Adi. But by now Zoya has learnt to be assertive ! caustic words don't affect her now. All she knows is she wants to alleviate a friend's pain a little bit. She is no deity! just a wronged ,misunderstood woman who means well for Aditya... forever!
She does get an audience with him. As she expects, he is too horrified to speak. When he does, he snarls at her, and roars at her to leave! Zoya did not come to leave before speaking her mind. He was still her friend, who has the right to know about Pooja's pregnancy before it gets to the court. She can read his body language. How he shuts himself to all she babbles on about. Its bad enough! that it was her husband that ruined both hers and his life! Once more his scowl sees Zoya as the punching bag for this fresh shock! He warned her not to stoke the embers by reopening the case! As many ,most of all both of them will have to relive their best forgotten ordeal!
But Zoya knows how to cope with Adi during his erratic turns.Calmly, heal him with reason.. she refrains from mincing her words. Begins with his suggestion, vow, of being friends. Well she still despite all odds, considers him as her friend. She came across the painful truth, that he too professed all along, but it was she who was under an illusion that Yash loved her. Adi calms down ,as she admits her mistake and thereafter ; listens to her pleas! that were her words but carried his thoughts too.. the truth is Pooja and Yash loved each other! Never valued their sincere love! betrayed them! were ready to divorce them ,so they could start a family of their own! The sooner they accept this. The better for both of them to close this chapter .. by giving them both Pooja and Yash a farewell.. Zoya sees Adi's face set, yet twisted with much grief. Exactly how she had felt. She says sorry to him and then leaves..
Adi sits back struck with grief at the foot of the bed that belonged to him and Pooja.. memories of him and Pooja flood his mind's eye.. but Zoya's calming ,consoling words gently help him to brace himself.. where once Adi seemed over Pooja ,now Zoya becomes strong so that she can gather Adi's broken spirits.. becomes his guardian angel..hamlet53. 4.7.18
