Chapter 3

Rohan was horrified at this & looked at RK in panic, who was himself not able to decipher anything. But there was one more person who was terrified & that was Madhu. She had no idea how to react to this information. RK seeing her condition hugged her & started caressing her hairs to calm her down.

Later, they sat together discussing the matter & came to the conclusion that it was Madhu's soul that was present here & only RK could interact with her as he was the one who called her. One thing RK couldn't understand though if the one with them was Madhu's ghost, then how was he able to feel & hold her & why did she not possess any ghostly powers & traits??

They mutually decided to keep her presence a secret from all & also started thinking of ways to make her gain her memory when Rohan came up with this brilliant idea of taking her to the places where they spent their times together.

RK would every day take Madhu to different places in Mumbai that they visited together during their college days. He would tell her about their past & how they met, their regular visiting spots etc. 

Madhu's hometown was Dehradun & she had come to Mumbai for her studies. RK was her college senior & both had fallen in love during college times & started dating.

All the while RK taking her to different places to make her remember things she had this weird feeling that they were being followed but then looking around she found no one. So she ignored the feeling & did not talk to RK about it not wanting to worry him more.

Every time RK took her to a new place, she would get blurred visions of their time spent together at that place. Slowly she was gaining back her memory. At first, it was all hazy but with passing time the images became clear & she could visualize those scenes in front of her eyes. 

*Flashback*

A girl of medium height wearing a blue color chudidar is seen entering the college campus clutching her books tightly to herself. She seemed nervous as if going there the first time. A group of boys & girls standing little away from the entrance call her out & she walks towards them scared. They were seniors & were ragging the freshers & she became their target being a fresher herself. They started misbehaving with her in the name of ragging seeing her all scared & terrified. One of the boys was going to kiss her forcibly when suddenly someone pulls him away from her & a strong punch lands on his face. She could not see her savior, as his back was facing her. The one time he turned in her direction for a brief second, she caught only the glimpse of his eyes.

*End of flashback*

RK was the college secretary & he had saved Madhu from ragging that day. Though she did not see his face then, she came to know about him from her friends. After that incident they kept bumping into each other for one reason or other, finally falling madly in love.

Madhu would sometimes see herself with RK, holding hands & walking in a park in silence cherishing their togetherness, sometimes sitting in a cafe opposite each other & chatting more like her talking & him listening to her melodious voice while they had their coffee.. Sometimes they would be seen fighting & bickering for silly thing, chasing each other around & ending up laughing at their own childish behaviour. Sometimes simply getting lost in each other's eyes trying to measure its depth.

*Flashback*

A girl is walking in the college corridor with some heavy books in her hands, trying to balance them, when she gets pushed due to the crowd & her books fall down. She bends down to collect her scattered books when another hand comes forward & picks the books. She looks up to find the owner of the hands. Both stare at each other while continuing to pick up the books...

Cultural fest is going on. There is a lot of hustle bustle. The girl is seen running from one place to other, helping her teammates get ready & checking the arrangements. Her foot gets stuck in her lehanga & she is about to trip when the same guy holds her in his arms saving her from falling...

The girl is seen approaching the guy. She shyly asks him to be her project guide, as each one of her classmates was supposed to take the help of a senior to complete their project.

He smiled at her sweetly & accepted to help her...

Both of them are busy discussing the project details when suddenly he looks at her face & sees her struggling with a hair strand that kept falling on her face. He is mesmerized by her beauty & stares at her dreamily while she goes on speaking...

The girl is sitting with her friends when she hears some sond from a distance & looks up to find the guy laughing with his friends. She smiles for a second before frowning looking at one of his lady friend who is holding his upper arm & leaning on him...

Its Valentine's day, The boy is seen getting on his knees & proposing the girl & she accepts with a smile. Happiness clearly visible on both their faces...

They are seen sitting in a cafe holding hands, lost in each other's eyes. Not caring about the world around them...

They are sitting on the beachside, watching the sunset. She tells him about her dreams & wishes for their future life together & he listens to her with a contented smile on his face...

They are seen bunking the college & going to watch movies...

They are in his room fighting for something, laughing & chasing each other & suddenly falling on the bed. They look at each other with love, their gaze turning intense & then they have their very first kiss. It was a beautiful moment...

Her graduation ceremony, where he proposes her for marriage in front of whole college, she is smiling with happy tears in her eyes..

*End Of Flashback*

It was all playing like a film in front of her eyes & finally after a month of struggling with her mind she could remember everything, except the fact that she had an accident. Try as may, she could not remember the incidents that led to her death. All she remembered was her talk with RK a night before.

*Flashback*

Madhu is on a phone call with RK talking about their impending wedding,

"RK, I am so happy. Finally, our wait is over & we will get tied together forever"

"Yes my love, I am eagerly waiting for tomorrow, to see you dressed as my bride. I can't wait to start a life with you"

"I love you RK"

"I love you too Madhu"

They talked for some more time & went to sleep dreaming of their beautiful future together..

*End of flashback*

RK & Madhu were happy in their own world. They were cherishing their togetherness & nothing else mattered to them.

A few days later:

It was around midnight. RK was sleeping when Madhu woke him up. He was first confused but became alert seeing her condition. She was sobbing uncontrollably. He immediately hugged her & tried to calm her down by whispering soothing words in her ears. When she was little better, he asked her the reason for her crying. What she said took away the ground beneath his feet.

  

Note : The writer could not finish the SS due to other commitments but will continue few days later when writer names are announced so this is not the last part there is one more part to go...
