Poorna's advice to Thiruna was good. Telling him not to be too attached to Nivi is he doesn't love her. She is basically telling him not to do what Ravi did to her. So now Ravi and Sudha are in love. Sudha is such an idiot. I think Ravi always liked Sudha but unfortunately she was with his friend. Plus Appu is NOT THE FAMILY GRANDCHILD. How can they love him like the first grandchild he is just another child. Everytime the situation gets awkward, Sudha starts crying and everyone feels sympathetic to her. In all her drama's this actress acts the same way. The only reason people like Sudha's character is because they are fans from her other serials. Otherwise from a new perspective she is a very basic actress. Plus she looks too old for the role. She is basically nearing her forties and trying to act young. This is probably why she only wears salwars since if she puts a saree she will look like an old lady.

At least in Nayagi they have shown that Thiru feels sympathetic to Ananya despite her being a bad person from the beginning. Unlike Ravi who hates Poorna for being angry for being left in the atler by her lover. Before they showed Kavya being upset for not getting the medical seat after studying so much -- so how come Poorna shouldn't be upset for not getting Ravi after being with him for 25 years through everything, after waiting to get married after Aishwarya as he requested. Atleast for Kavya she can try again to get the medical seat but for Poorna she can't. So many dramas have the same story Boy loves Girl But there is a more sacrificing/homely girl. Suddenly the Boy marries the homely idiot and the original girl becomes a villain because she didn't bless the couple. Then Boy falls in love with the homely idiot and the other girl says sorry. I think Indian dramas love these homely sacrificing girls who trick rich men to marry them. Who said that sacrificing girls are better? or that poor girls are better wives? See Sudha here is a trickster first she married Surender against his parents wishes and now Ravi. All along her spineless parents follow along and act like they are good in-laws. Parents have no spine and don't know how to live so the girl tries to marry rich.They have also showed that she needs a man since one day without one and she loses her child. Like she can't even go on a bus without losing her child.

So now sudha is wondering why poorna wants her out of the house? is she that big of an idiot. obviously she is unlucky, her child was born when her first husband died. she and her useless mother. now she thinks that she can have the perfect life with Ravi. the actress shruti is a horrible match for Ravi, she literally looks like she is his older sister. have you wondered why she doesn't wear anything but churidars? because she looks like an old lady in sarees. what poorna said was right, it would hurt so much to see the man you love marry an older lady with a child. in real life not in this fake drama, sudha would be hated because she is a cheating cougar. now her child is the first grandchild. appu was born from another man, he can never be the first grandchild.

Sruthi basic actress aa?? She's one of the best in Tamil serials (the scene where she finds Appu is testament to her acting talents)!! Coming to chudithar/ saree, Sruthi looks young & stunning in sarees compared to the dull chudithars she's been wearing from Thendral days..!!

BTW, Azhagu serial is moved to 7pm slot with Kanmani (starring Sanjeev) taking over its place. SUN TV was/ is losing out to Yarudi Nee Mohini (Zee Tamizh) at this time slot, so this shake up was expected!!

Azhagu was 2nd in BARC ratings last week (Nayaki 1st, Nandhini 3rd, Aambala Movie 4th, and Yarudi Nee Mohini 5th). Let's see what happens this week with Kanmani in the mix... 😉

Azhagu is out of the Top 5 (Naayagi 1st, Kanmani 2nd, Yaaradi Nee Mohini 3rd, Kalyana Veedu 4th, Nandini 5th).

Lokesh (Ravi) was replaced in yesterday's episode (he's off to Jodi on Vijay TV) and Sangeetha (Poorna) to be replaced next (confirmed via her Twitter account)... 😭

The storyline for azhagu is really going to the bin. First sudha stole poornas fianc now she wants her job.Seriously, now Sudha is the villain. Only the fans for the actress say that she is bold and strong. If she was so bold and smart, she would come up in life by her own efforts instead of stealing other people's things. I ave a feeling that the actress Sruthi Raj has influenced the writers in some way to get prime screen role as a heroine especially since she is a actress way past her prime to be acting as a newly married neurone when it is clear that she is more closer to 40 than 20. I thought in vain rani, the storyline was written to glorify vani, but at least they she never steals stuff from others to get what she wants. Here sudha stole Poorna's fianc, her peace and now her job security. In which world is sudha the heroine? Lokesh probably left this show since the storyline is rubbish. Plus lokesh looked like he was in his mid twenties / early thirties whereas Sruthi is in her late thirties /early forties, they were the worst match. She looked like his older sister. No wonder they replaced him with an older looking guy who wasn't as handsome as lokesh since only someone like that would match her.
