Why was Saasuma getting so het up about working daughters-in-law? Why would her naakh get cut? Isn't the show set in 2017? I'm sure even in Meerut women work.

They were running a respectable business. The way she was going on, the audience would have thought they started a brothel!

The show started out as comedy but I don't find it funny anymore. It gets more regressive with every passing episode. -- Bahus seem to have no individual thought even with such different personas. It is becoming all about Kunit screaming "Lalaaa" and the "SuperBahus" fixing the issue.

See even I am addressing them as "bahus" -- these women no identity of their own anymore.
