Ok, so before I begin, I just have to clearly state that I am AGAINST this revamp...it is utterly ridiculous and unacceptable to me. It was OK...if Sa-Ga were separated due to an accident and a new person rescued her, helped her etc. but G having feelings for him and vice-versa is absolute disgusting and sick to say the least, them staying as Hus-Wife is heights of cheapness.
Now, the reason for this post...I really can understand that the emotions are running high with the audience (including me) and that is why many of us have stopped watching the show. At least I have, but I have to state my reasons for it. After being on this forum, I have identified that there are broadly three categories of fans that are participating in the Forum Activities: -
(1) Fans of Individual stars...Vishal Vashishtha the highest number on the forum, followed by Hiten Tejwani and others
(2) Fans of some of the characters...Gangaa, Sagar, Babu, Ammaji etc.
(3) Fans of the show per se which includes, the story, concept, characterisation, music, performances etc.
The categories are not water-tight because a fan can belong to more than one category or all of them at the same time, the categorization is based on the basic reason why a person is/was connected to the show, at the first place.
There has not been a single person on the forum, or even a single post that I have read that has ever criticized the acting caliber of any of the actors and everyone has hailed particularly the brilliance of Vishal Vashishtha and Hiten Tejwani...everyone I suppose. However, I have noted that the category 3 fans have been slightly more rational in bringing out inconsistencies in the characters, even if it included Sagar. I can share a personal anecdote. I had always held Niranjan in high-regard, his characterisation was more in the nature of Lal-Bahadur Shastri's character that I had read in my childhood- Niranjan was someone I wanted to become in my real life, (I am a lawyer myself, so I could relate to it a bit more). Therefore, I could just not believe when he refused to accept Gangaa as his daughter-in-law...somewhere that idealist-righteous-socialist Babu came across as so class-n-image conscious that it hurt...I remember having expressed that on the forums and found acceptance among the loyal fans of Hiten...because they clearly understood that the discussion is purely on the character and it comes from a very rational space. Same goes with the other characters of Gangaa, Sagar, Pulkit everyone..as ALL the characters have been fundamentally butchered...I am again re-iterating that the discussion should be purely on characters...we r all mature enough to understand that. If I ever criticized Sagar's move for Krishna's custody, I have been slammed left-right and center...as if I am abusing Vishal...that has discouraged me to a great extent. If I called his marriage to Jaanvi as an impusive decision, I was asked to stop watching the show, as I was being negative...but when I ranted against Gangaa (in most posts)...nothing of this sort ever happened!! Speaking out of my personal experience.
I have seen several members calling the forum as inactive and claim that it is somehow only active due to Vishal Vashishtha fans would be something I would be very humbly and politely disagreeing with. The contribution of V.V. fandom is undoubtedly very rich on this forum...and I have particularly thanked Khushi, Anjali, Lady Bheem and others  on several occasions but there are other members like Anasuya, Gaurav and several others who contributed to this forum in its earlier days with equal dedication. Yes, certainly this place became far more lively after the leap and with the entry of Vishal...but it was functional and interesting discussions about widow issues, Benaras and rights of child-widows were undertaken on this forum even earlier. Later on this place became inactive & no-one really felt like participating due to the TRACKS-plain & simple. Rahat, Palash, Shiv...would anyone care to participate??? Nooo!! bcos all of us are just-disconnected with the show now...M not even bothered...The show has crossed its hay-days ages back. I have heard that Sagar is back...but I still don't want to watch it...my love for Vishal remains intact, but the show is disturbing me. So, that is the plain reason why the forum is dormant...the forum is dependent on the show and not the other way round, if the show is good, the members would automatically be active...there is nothing stimulating, interesting, intelligent and positive that I would like to talk about...so, I don't participate. That is all...let us not make random statements and be rude, insulting or insensitive about anyone's feelings and at the same time...let us not be so touchy about stuff that is being said. Due to the idiocy and lameness of the CVs...why should we, the audience lose our peace of mind...let the show be.
P.S. So basically, my point is GUYS JUST CHILL...I wish PEACE for us all!!

I absolutely agree with your sentiments. Sometimes in fandoms the love of one outweighs the love of many and i have noticed that effect the tracks of the shows. If followers of one of the leads is bigger and that actor/actress decides to leave, the group follows and it kills the show. No one fights for the show that bought everyone together.  I also understand writers needing to introduce  new characters in order to not make the show stale but many of these characters do nothing but hurt the track. When a show a great ensemble cast, writers need to learn to utilize them rather then making certain characters disappear. Gangaa's cast was fully utilized, you were guaranteed to see almost of the main cast in most episodes.

Anyways I am rambling so I shall just zip it. LOL

Today, after a long while I decided to watch a full episode of Gangaa as it is going to finally end soon for me."Disgust" is the only word which can describe my experience of watching it, this much I can say. Specially Shiv's behaviour was so disrespectful🤢, no logic can explain it. For how long has he known Gangaa that he has grown so much feelings for her that he desires her for himself inspite of realising that she was never his in the first place! Gangaa's behaviour was also extremely annoying, but still I can overlook it to some extent as she is suffering from amnesia. I will repeat once again that these cvs are insane and sick to the core. I can never forgive the way they ruined a show which had started in a promising way!

I just fast forwarded my way through the episode to see what was going on. I just couldn't watch the precap. As you said such a horrible end to such promising show and such a beautiful love story. 😭

Frankly, I have conditioned my mind now...not to ruin my inner peace for this non-sense...to be very honest, I was actually very disappointed when the re-vamp happened and then to learn that Sagar is back only to be knocked out like this...but now, I don't want to wallow in self-pity any more...in fact the last couple of months, since the Rahat track began, my brother and others in the family who knew that I was following this show had started making fun of me...considering the heights of non-creativity that this show reached...it was getting very difficult to defend my own choice...I also once recommended the show to some of my friends which further led to my embarrassment...so, I have actually had enough of it...the only last hope that I was clinging on to was that Sa-Ga would be united in the end...and the journey of that little girl in search of love and fulfillment would be completed... but then, the CVs could not live up to that well-founded expectation as well...so what else can I now say or do...they are the creators and the destroyers of their own creation.
It was certainly a heartbreaking experience for me...nonetheless, I would still want to remember the good old memories that I had with this show in the initial days and move on to look for greener pastures.. if in this lifetime, I can be like Niranjan of Choti Ganga...my purpose on this earth would be fulfilled.

I still am unable to believe how drastically and unceremoniously they have shown the death of Sagar, whom they have shown as the one and only man in Gangaa's life for so long and since childhood too! The cvs seemed to be busy displaying all the emotions of Shiv. Even Palash was far better than him! He was supposed to be in love only with his Parvati, and he took no time in replacing her position in his life with G! Really! And Babu's death to they took no notice of! Hah!

I have not been watching this show since January...so I don't know what happened to Babu...but if u say that he also has been killed off...I'm not actually surprised...I could make this out looking into the OLV where Madhavi was wearing white...I kind of presumed that. See, what I believe is that the CVs have just gotten Sagar back for a closure because VV fandom had actually raised a hue & cry and rightfully so...we needed to know what happened to Sagar...so just to close his episode they hired Vishal's services for a week to end his character in such haphazard manner. As far as Babu is concerned, let me tell u, I always knew that all the Chaturs and their story would be left unattended after the re-vamp...because since the time the re-vamp was announced...I could only see curiosity amongst the fans about what happens to Sagar...in June last year, there were first round of rumours about a revamp...where Niranjan's character was to end...that time as well...the fandom did not care to ask for retaining his character...all they said was as long as Vish-ti are there in the show, we are not interested in knowing who stays or who does not...The show was only treated as a love-story revolving around Sa-Ga...when this was not entirely correct...All the Chaturs were equally relevant to the show, especially Babu, Bahuji and Ammaji...theirs were well-defined characters with a basic purpose...but due to the popularity of Sa-Ga, post-leap the other characters did not find adequate structure and could not evolve. So, yes, Babu I knew would end like this...marking the climax to one of the Principal characters of the show abruptly.
What is the lessen that we draw...??u do good to a helpless girl, educate her, protect her... and you suffer throughout your life...Sagar marrying a widow, ends up dead like this??? This show has made me hate Gangaa so much that I can't even describe...she actually brought SARVANAASH to the whole family. Sagar paid a heavy price?? And Gangaa??...even after ruining Rudra's life...and everyone else's, is having the coveted title of Mathadheesh ki Wife!! I seriously want to file a case against the Bloody makers...have no words to articulate my thoughts...at this moment. I really think, Post 1st leap in December 2015, the only track that made some basic sense was the Jaanvi track...at least that track, even though not entirely but contributed to a certain extent to the main plot of Sa-Ga relationship...otherwise all the plots after that were completely rubbish, meaningless and devoid of any purpose.

As you know I'm new and only caught up last week so I kind FF through to the episode because I was preversly curious how they would end Sagar's character and to see if they leave any doors open to bring back the original cast for the final episode. Unfortunately, the most important scene from the episode yesterday were greyed out online so I'm not sure what Sagar asked of Shiv because he does ask for him. Either way the show should have ended with them getting SaGa married again and the family going on a boat ride. The Ganga we knew for 2+ years has disappeared in the presence of Shiv and his Gawar clan. All around disappointing. This show might be my shortest involvement in a fandom. I give till summer before the show dies of low TRP.

@Debashri: Since the boat accident, they have never shown Babu or the other Chaturvedis and now they announced his death just like that! I can't understand why there have been many instances where it has been proclaimed that "Gangaa ko to akhir Sagar mein hi milna hain", when in reality nothing of that sort happened! And, in an extremely filmy way Sagar sacrificed his life to protect Shiv, made his mother and Shiv promise@his death bed that Shiv will make Gangaa his wife, keep her happy and blah blah blah! This show has made me feel emotionally drained and so pessimistic about any show, kya bataoon! I should have stopped watching Gangaa months back actually. Somebody must have performed dark magic on these cvs after the first leap. And, there was another show of the same actor VV which had made me fall in love all over again with life, love, my dear ones and myself...I still keep on watching that show😛 online!

They should have ended the show with Ganga - Sagar...or they could have replaced Vishal with another actor. The current story is bull shit!
