23 February 2018...
Ananya ran into the hospital room like a maniac...and launched herself into her husband's arms...
Kissing him all over his face...fussing over his wounds & bandages...telling him how much she loved him...
Tears stung her eyes seeing him with do many bruises & bandages still he looked handsome than ever to her...
Kabir gasped in surprise but held Ananya awkwardly as she cried into his chest...
K: umm...excuse me ma'am...but do I know u?
He asked politely...
Those 8 words of his were enough to shatter Ananya's world...
A: Kabir...?
She asked heartbrokenly...
K: yes?
Kabir asked her in the same voice...
He saw her pretty eyes fill up with tears instantly...and she burst into hysterical sobs...her body shaking hard in his arms...
A: aa..aap...mujhe...bhool gaye?
She trailed off in a broken voice...cupping his cheek...her heart shattering into peices when Kabir flinched fearfully...
Kabir was awkward yet again as he carefully removed her hand off his face...
K: I'm sorry...par aapko nahi jaanta...by the way...aap..mujhe bata sakti hai ki...mera beta kaha hai? Mera Kavya...he's only 7 months old...please...
Just as Ananya collapsed on the floor in sobs...Rajveer & Sandhya entered the room...
Ra: Kabir! Tu theek toh hai na?
Rajveer exclaimed while in tears...hugging his baby brother close & kissing the top of his head...making Kabir flinch violently at the sudden contact...
Kabir did not hug him back...& was still confused as ever...
But Rajveer was too happy to notice anything...
K: bhaisahab ab aap kon hai?
He asked cautiously...visibly stunned...
Rajveer frowned...
Ra: bhaisahab? Chotu tu phirse masti karne lag gaya! Aise tooti phooti haalat mein bhi??
He chuckled but stopped seeing Kabir's nervous expression...
Ra: Kabir?
She inquired lovingly & Kabir slightly relaxed due to his tone...
K: ji?
Ra: kya hua tujhe? Aur Ananya kyu ro rahi hai?
He asked...
K: Ananya?
Kabir looked genuinely confused...
Sa: Kabir? Ananya! Tum use nahi pehchante?
Sandhya asked as she held the sobbing Ananya...completely shocked...
A: bh...bhaabhi...da..da...inhe..inhe...kuch..yaa..aad...nahi hai...
Ananya mumbled between her sobs...
Ra & Sa: kya?
Gasped the stupified couple...
Ra: Kabir..main tera dada...tera bada bhai...Rajveer...ye teri Sandhya bhaabhi...aur..aur..
Rajveer broke down..before he could complete...
Kabir looked down...guiltily...
His fists clenched...realising he not answered rightly to these people & they were going to torture him for it...like...them...
His fists clenched tightly & he tried his best not to show his fear...
Just then...
Ka: Papa!
Kabir's head snapped up hearing the excited squeal...
Sandhya walked in carrying Kavya...
The little baby squealed in delight seeing his mother...
Ka: Mummm!!!
He struggled in Sandhya's grip to go to his mother...
Kabir watched the woman from before take Kavya in her arms & pamper him with millions of kisses...
Ka: Mummmieee!
Ananya chuckled slightly at how happy her baby was...
But Kabir was completely shocked...
Mummy?
Kavya, his son called this woman as mummy?
He thought...absolutely bewildered...
But before he could think further...
Ka: Papaaa!
Kavya tumbled out of Ananya's arms onto Kabir's lap...
Kabir hissed due the impact on his bruised & broken feetbut nevertheless scooped up his baby & lavished him with feather soft kisses until he was giggling and squealing uncontrollably...
K: Papa ke baby ne papa ko miss toh kiya na?
Kabir cooed to his baby ever so softly...
Kavya gurgled & cooed at him in reply making Kabir kiss his forehead...
A: Kavya bilkul theek hai...use..bilkul chot nahi aayi hai...kyu...kyunki...aap..aapne...uski chot..bhi...apne upar le li...
Ananya was still unable to stop crying & Kabir felt something stir deep within him seeing her cry...
K: uhmm...so...you're my wife..right? A..aur...Kavya ki maa?
He asked her embarrassedly...and watched as her beautiful face grew sad...saddening himself instantly...
A: ji...
Was all Ananya managed to say...
Ka: Mummie!
Kavya babbled again cutely making them both smile...
K: aap bohot pyaar karte ho na apni mummy se?
Kabir asked lovingly...
Ka: Mummmieee! Kab lub mum! ( Kav loves mum)
Kavya answered & the Sharma family gaped at him with their jaws hanging wide open...
A: k..kya?
They understood what exactly Kavya said inspite of his words being a very gurgled & incoherent version of the actual ones...
Kabir saw the wom..er...his wife burst into tears for the nth time...
A: mere baby ne I love u bola!
She squealed...launching herself towards her husband & son excitedly...this time tears of joy running down her face...
She realised she had startled Kabir...
And began to apologise profusely...
A: I..I'm so so sorry Kabir...I didn't realise...I..am...really sorry...main na poori paagal hoon...aap bhi kehte the...pata hai...main...vo...khushi...ke maare...
She blushed...
K: uh..its fine...
Kabir replied curtly before bringing back his attention to his son cradled in his arms...
3 months ago...
January 4 2018...
In a dark, dismal room, Editor-in-cheif Kabir Sharma awoke to the pitiful wailing of an infant...
He tried to get up however fell back with a groan...clutching his throbbing head...
He didn't know how long he was out after his so called vile father & his men tortured him in the most painful & cruel ways...
He gasped to see blood on the hand which had held his head...
He could still hear the cries of a baby & looked around worriedly...wondering who the child was and why it was crying so badly...
He spotted a tiny figure curled into a ball in a far corner...he saw a blur of blue & brown...
Ignoring his aching muscles, he used up all the energy he could muster to drag himself towards the sobbing baby...
" Papaaa!"
The baby cried out...bursting in more heart wrenching sobs...
K: K..Kavya?
Kabir gasped in horror...having recognised his son's voice in an instant...
" Papa! Papa! Papa! Mum...mumm..mummy!"
Kavya insisted...crying nonstop...
Kabir's bruised & bleeding hands trembled as they pulled Kavya closer...
The sobbing baby was quick to recognise the familiar warmth & snuggled into Kabir's chest...
Ka: Papa?
Kavya asked tearfully & Kabir inspite of the blinding pain...
K: haan b..beta...papa...
He whispered...
Ka: Mumm?
Kavya asked him again...his big brown eyes shimmering with millions of tears & cute pink lip curled up & quievering as big fat tears rolled down his chubby cheeks...
Kabir gently caressed his golden brown curls & pulled him closer...
K: pata nahi baby...par mumma yaha nahi hai...mumma safe hai...
Kavya clutched Kabir's T-shirt in his clenched fist...his eyes scrunched up & face all red as he bawled heartwrenchingly...
K: shhh baby...please ro mat...I don't want anyone to hurt u...please...ye log janwar hai...please Kavya baby...
Kabir pleaded to his baby boy in the most helpless voice ever...
Kavya was still sobbing & hiccuping & his then helpless & battered father could only hug him closer to muffle his sobs...
Kavya babbled his reply in his cute baby language & Kabir couldn't help but smile lovingly at him...
Spotting a glass and plate in another corner, Kabir somehow made his way towards it, painfully...
He was dead sure that he had broken bones...
Realising how sore Kavya's throat must be from all the bawling, he gently brought the glass to his son's tiny lips...allowing his little angel to sip water...
He smiled weakly when Kavya sipped eagerly...
Kabir placed the empty glass back, satisfied...ignoring his pangs of thirst...
He sighed as he thought about how him & Kavya ended in this hell on earth...
A day before...
1 January 2018...
Kabir smiled seeing his little son giggle & squeal excitedly when he was placed on the rocking play horse in the park...
Kabir held Kavya with one hand & gently rocked the horse with the other...
Kavya squealed loudly...loving it!
Kabir chuckled & bent down to kiss his soft golden brown curls...
K: maza aaraha hai na?
He asked lovingly...
Ka: Papaaa!
Kavya babbled before beginning to coo away merrily in his baby language...amusing Kabir to no end...
Times like these encouraged Kabir to spend time with his little one...
Ananya was caught up in some lead...having recently joined back as the senior reporter she was in KKN...
Rajveer was away for official buisness & Sandhya & Monu were visiting the former's parents...
This left Kabir & Kavya with all the time in the world to spend on each other...
Kabir left early from KKN as Ananya had to go meet Tinu for the lead & decided to have some daddy-baby time in the park...
As they continued playing, Kabir suddenly heard his wife's seeet voice...
A: Kavya!!!! Mumma aagayi!
She squealed excitedly & Kabir chuckled...realising why Kavya was always squealing happily...
Ka: Mummm!
Kavya exclaimed in delight & jumped from Kabir's arms into Ananya's waiting arms...
Ka: Mum!
He giggled & planted a slobbery kiss on his mother's cheek while playing with her curly hair...
A: awwle my baby!
Kabir watched his love coo ever so lovingly & kiss & pamper their baby boy...
K: haan haan..aajkal papa se pyaar kon karta hai...mummy se hi karte hai na sab...papa ko toh koi kissie bhi deta...
Kabir pouted...
Ananya smirked & then began making kissy noises making Kabir narrow his eyes at her...
K: khair...koi nahi...tum mat do...hum khud hi lelete hai...
He smirked & wrapped an arm around her waist & pecked his wife sensously on her lips...
Ananya turned red due to this & smacked his chest...
A: Kabirrr! Hum park mein hai!
Kabir scowled & then made a sulking baby face at her & Ananya burst out laughing...before kissing her grumbling husband's cheek...
A: aap na harkato se Kavya se bhi chote lagte hai! You're such a baby Kabir!
She chuckled...
K: pati ko toh tum kiss deti ho nahi...main baby jaisi cute harkate karu toh kameskam gaal par ek kiss toh dedeti ho...toh main kya karu?
Kabir said with all the innocence in the world...
A: awww...
She pulled Kabir into a hug...
A: I love u my hot Mr Sharma...
K: & I love you too my smoking hot Mrs Sharma!
He whispered passionately...knocking his forehead with Ananya...their lips about to meet...
Their haze of love was broken by the sudden ringing of Kabir's cell phone...
Kavya giggled as if poking fun at his parents...
K: achcha beta! Badi hasi aarahi hai..haina?
Kabir asked a giggling Kavya playfully...
K: Kabir Sharma...
Kabir spoke in his Editor-in-cheif tone...while Ananya blushed remembering what just transpired between them...
K: alright..I'll be there...
Kabir answered curtly & cut the call...
K: Ananya...sweetheart...I need to go..ek important meeting schedule hui hai aur Khalid aur mera jaana zaroori hai...
He informed...
A: um..ok...toh ab park mein Mumma-baby time start hoga!
K: ok...but miss me alright!
Kabir said in a grumpy voice & Ananya burst out laughing...
A: okay baby Kabir!
She teased...
K: bye Ananya mumma!
Kabir teased back...
K: ok Kavya baby..papa ko jaana hai...toh ab mummy aapje saath khelengi...hmm?
He cooed affectionately & his chubby cheek...
At this Kavya did something that stunned the first time parents like never before...
He puffed up his already chubby cheeks...making his face look like the cutest & roundest white snow ball...
KaYa awed at the beautiful baby they had created together...
Kavya looked tearfully at Kabir with millions of tears shimmering in his big brown eyes before looking away with his cheeks still puffed...
It was seriously the most adorable baby gesture Kabir had seen...
Before Kabir could proceed to kiss & cuddle his baby ge heard a voice again...
KF: I f were you I'd smack some discipline in him...atleast till he was crying & begging for forgiveness!
Kabir's eyes turned black as coal with fury & he instantly lifted Kavya up to his chest protectively...
His head then snapped up to face his sickly smiling father...
Ananya gave one look of disgust to the man & said...
A: Get lost!
She spat...
The man chuckled darkly...
KF: Kabir! Meri sikhaayi hui saari cheezon tum bhool gaye ho...can't even control your wife! Huh!
K: control? Ananya meri patni hai...koi slave nahi jise main control karu..she's my equal...
He stated proudly...
Kabir's father rolled his eyes...
KF: aur ye tumhaara fussy aur nakhrewaala bachcha! Uski himaat nahi honi chahiye tumse zubaan ladaane ya nazar milaane ki ! Arrey kaapna chahiye use tumhaare saamne hone par...
The man went on with his primitive, disgusting talks...
Just then...
Ka: Papa!
Kabir's gaze instantly softened hearing Kavya's cute voice...
Kabir smiled at him...
K: hmm?
His voice was extremely sweet & gentle...
Kavya pouted cutely in confusion while his chubby hand stopped playing with the hair at the base of his neck & moved towards his face...
Kabir smiled again when Kavya's soft, chubby hands patted him all over his face...
Remembering the words of his father, Kabir glanced at his innocent little son...
Tears stung his eyes at the thought of his hand striking against Kavya's baby skin...leaving nasty red handprints & bruises behind...like his skin once bore...
He shook his head vigrously & hugged Kavya & Ananya close to him...
K: Main tumhaari tarah nahi hoon...jo apni biwi aur bachchon ka dard dekhkar khushi mehsoos karu...I love my family to buts & don't u DARE come near them...varna Kabir Sharma ki taqst ko tum jaante nahi ho...
Kabir said with his signature bad boy smirk...
His pathetic excuse of a father grinned wickedly...and left without a word...
Kabir looked back at Kavya who instantly puffed his cheek up again...
K: itna saara gussa!
Kabir cried out...
A: aapka hi beta hai...
Kabir scowled at his giggling wife before breaking into a loving smile & kissing her cheek with utmost love...
K: Ananya?
A: hmm?
K: you fo believe me right? when I say...I love you?
A: of course...ye kya faltu question hai Kabir...aap chahe jitne bhi khadoos, sadu, akdu aur chidhchidhe hai...I still love u the most...
She replied with a blush & Kabir smirked naughtily...
A: aapko der nahi horahi?
Ananya inquired & Kabir smiled in reply...
K: nahi...mera baby bura maan gaya toh?
Kabir asked with mock fear...
A: offo! main use mana lungi...par aapka jaana zaroori hai Kabir...
Kabir smiled sadly...
K: haan hai...par tumdono se zyaada nahi Ananya...pata hai...bachpan mein jab maa jaa rahi thi tab...main bohot roya tha...I pleaded her to stay for me...I pleaded...but...vo nahi ruk paayi...pap...uss insaan ne unhe rukne nahi diya...he kicked her out...and..and...then..took..out...all his...anger on me...
He trailed off...
K: aa..aaj jab Kavya chahta tha ki main naa jaau...mujhe..vahi yaad aaya...isliye...main jaa paya use chodkar...
Kabir gazed at his family with pure love filled eyes...
A: I'm blessed to have a husband like you..
Ananya whispered & wrapped her arms around him...
K: me too...to have such a beautiful wife...
He praised lovingly & Ananya blushed...
K: ab tum jao ghar...aur aaraam karlo...I'll be fine with Kavya...
A: no its ok...I'm fine...
K: baby...you had a on feild day right? mujhe kuch nahi sunna...tum bas jao...aur aaraam karo...hum bhi thodi der mein aate hai...
Ananya agreed hesitantly & left after kissing them both goodbye...
Meanwhile, the father-son duo played until it was dusk...varely realising when time passed...
Finally Kabir saw the time in his watch & gasped...
K: Kavya chalo baby...bohot der hogayi hai...hum kal phir aayenge..hmm?
Ka: papa mummie!!!
Kabir insisted...
K: haan haan...tumhaati mummy ke paas hi lekar jaa raha hoon...
He chuckled...
As he made his way to his car, something hit his head hard...
Kavya almost fell off his arms...but Kabir held him somehow...
He heard nasty laughs before his vision turned hazy & he sccumbed to the darkness...

" Mummmiee!"
Ananya & Kabir gasped hearing the squeal...
K: ye Kavya ki awaaz thi na?
A: h...haan...
Ananya stuttered in confusion...
Just then...
" SURPRISE!!!!!!!"
KaYa looked around the brilliantly decoration!
K: yeh sab kya hai???
Kabir gasped...
Ananya was about to reply when the lights came on & everyone appeared before them...the whoke KKN gang, Anita, Armaan, Monu, Rajveer, Sandhya & Kavya in her arms...
Kabir & Ananya exchanged surprised looks...
Ar: didi! jiju! happy 2nd Wedding Anniversary!
Armaan explained...and hugged Kabir...who hugged hom back...surprised yet happy...
Kabir took his little son from Sandhya & kissed his head...
K: aspbe bhi papa mumma ke liye iss surprise ko plan karne mein help ki na? thank u so much...
He cooed...giving him another kiss...
Kavya giggled & clapped his hands...
Meanwhile only one person watched Kabir plant kisses on Ananya & Kavya's heads lovingly...Shreya...who in the least didn't look pleased...
