IKRS Monday 27^th June 2016 ep 289 My Take ~ that's my girl!

For a man there is a general saying that the female figures in  his life greatly  influence  and matter to him. For he is a  being  who needs  tender loving care  throughout life  to realize  his true potential.  Thus for him it all starts with the woman who bore him.. he tends to seek that  maternal image in his wife too.. in case  the wife is not around , he  wants the  being cared for feeling  to stem from his daughter in whom he tends to see his wife.. ah yes there's another saying  daughters tend to look out  for their parents. These are just popular sayings and may be far removed from the truth. However in the episode the cycle of  a male's  desire for the nurture element to continue can be seen... as Viplav  seeks in his flower fairy  both his own  traits  but the qualities of  his flower queen , Dhani  ,Vidha's mother too! its all about .. me and my girl! The cycle between maternal and nurture  rolls on..

 The doctor comes out, flashes the required prescription in Viplav's face that's what is needed. Parshiya reaches out for the prescription again but a stressed  viplav  grabs his collar  snarls in  his face, tells him to  just shut his face! he was going to get it  in the first place then why did he poke his nose ?In a hurry, a furious Viplav dashes off,  leaving behind a terribly upset Parshiya  , who mumbles to Dulari  he only  brought what the prescription said, what could have happened? Dulari believes him.  Kamini  stands on the one hand   tongue  in cheek,  Parshiya  is made to look like an idiot . Still while on the other hand her Viplav seems to have  lost the plot.  Dhani is all  can see!  his wife   means nothing more than a piece of furniture  to him!!. All shook up by Viplav's reaction ,  Parshiya   peeps   at  Dhani through the  porthole in the door. Within  a jiffy viplav returns, knocks  at  the door , where  Dhani's  kept, gives the injection  with an urgent message , please hurry up! clearly he is worried sick  for all to see ,yes he is worried about  Dhani and he cares  not what others think. The correct injection is administered and Dhani is stabilized...

Where the heart broken go , to the  oblivious  out cold, infirm!  to seek healing .Shortly a disturbed Viplav opens the door and enters where she's kept in. Obvious relief comes on his face as he finds  her asleep under the oxygen mask. He sits on the stool beside her, reaches out for her hand , protectively  cups it within  his palms ,and brings it closer to his  lips.  Intently   he leans and looks closer into her sleeping face. Soothes himself as he presses  her held hand, against his stubble  cheek. He looks down at his sleeping  Dhani and mutters ,he's not sure if she can hear him, but had  something happened  to her today , he too  would have died for sure. He's lost her once  and..  His voice breaks and he fights back his tears and carries on again. he   knows  she's  annoyed with him, fine. She won't talk to him ,fine too..punish him  for that ,but for heaven's sake don't scare him like this! he stares  into her face and urges , why won't she tell  him  what exactly huge mistake has he committed that all changed  drastically? A drugged Dhani   responds not to his words, but resigned he replies, fine. Suit herself , don't talk to him, go ahead hate him ! but don't tell  him Vidha is not his daughter! Viplav stops ,leans forward as he   notices  her teardrop  slide down from the outer corner of her eye down to her cheek  bone! He feels the tear drop with his fingertip..his heart leaps with joy does she  hear him?? And a tear  drop slides down from the inner  corner of his eye too, all the way   down to his nostril. He's unsure if she hears him. He recalls  how she used to bluff him by pretending to sleep and he would threaten  to  tickle her if she  didn't stop  her act! How he wishes this whole separation ,this wall of frigidity and indifference  between them  is   but a silly act !That would by a tickle end! And things would be the same as they were! Yearns Viplav soul..yes he had threatened to tickle her and she would  tickle  him instead how he used to laugh ,those were the days.. Viplav now sits by her and suddenly  laughs through  his tears.. Yes  Dhani .my love those were the days..ok right he needs to cut his drama  and he blots his tears and continues   talking to her ,he  knows  now if he told her to stop pretending and get up ,she won't  ,not now ,not anymore??? he stares down at her  almost in the hope that the past once more becomes the present!..mind you he carries on  ,even if she does getup  on his request ,  she would let go of his hand and runaway from him! .. Thing is  Dhani ,the last thing he wants to do is   become an impediment in her life.. Many times he tried to leave from here, but he just cannot make himself do that! May be her mum is right , its  all his fault  she has ended up in this state...viplav pours his heart out to her as he still hangs on to her hand ,  both receives and gives healing ..that  which  their broken hearts need.. The scene is an example where  trauma brings people  together and paves way for mending severed ties and relationships. Although it' a one way situation, where Viplav is granted the opportunity to purge his pent up emotions. He is the speaker and  Dhani on the other end is the mute listener .Yet some good is achieved out of it ,Viplav gets things off his chest , following  his conversation  with Dulari where he is a  told a few home truths about the kind of husband he has been to  Dhani. #Outside  Dhanis' room while  her husband offers  her TLC.. A beaten  Kamini at all  her battle fronts especially at keeping her husband  away from   Dhani, for failing to ignite a proper punch up between  Parshiya and Viplav.  She  fumes, as her plan to kill  Dhani is foiled  by none other than her husband. Still she is all about keeping face, that's what gets her through in life. She finds Parshiya  and loudly tries to pin the blame on him for trying to kill  Dhani with the wrong medicine.  She makes noise so she can cover her own tracks lest she is suspected  of foul regards the  drugs debacle! Tries to give Parshiya  a guilt trip, does he not know medicines have to be checked before  purchase? !His mistake could have could have cost  Dhani her  life! Viplav would have killed him!   been sent to jail for the rest of his life. Dulari flies to Parshiya's rescue and tells  Kamini  to cut her  hypocritical concerns .. There isn't a more sincere and truthful  person  than Parshiya  on  this earth !  He's the one, who settled them in Mumbai!  Kamini tries to give  Dulari lip and then Parshiya stands up , towers over her and   raises his voice  at her ,she'd better buzz off! and keep her eyes open for her husband who is moping  around like a love torn Romeo!  and the way  she talks about  Dhani  in front of him , if she talks  to her  husband   that way , he surely will end up in jail! for   killing her as he won't stand for her rubbish against!   Kamini  warns him how dare he, and Parshiya shouts back, tells her to get lost!  next time  time ,he warns her to watch her mouth  before she opens it before him! Parshiya gives  Kamini  verbal hell and she runs off like a beaten dog with its tail between its legs. Parshiya has  felt  the animosity this wicked witch  feels for  Dhani. He was civil to her for rather along time.. He looked for the right time to lay it on to her! and today he had the opportunity to lay into this pathetic society  elite with his pure street power lingo! But he does wonder  how he got the wrong medicine  ,when he took the very prescription that the sister gave him?..kamini sniggers in the shadows. But Parshiya  does blame himself , although  Dulari  consoles him ,the main thing is  Dhani is better now , she has to be taken home soon ,besides  people  blame others and believing  a woman like  Kamini  is  of no value! So best forget the incident, people make mistakes.. Dulari supports  Parshiya , so once again the witch loses at creating a rift between  Dhani, Dulari and Parshiya

Kamini  decides to use her wife's  prerogative. Approaches Viplav as soon as he comes out of  Dhani' room, shows feigned relief Dhani is better. He sees through her ,  blanks her out. She taunts   him  they need to head back for Banaras, for Atharva's sake he needs him! beside Dhani  has her husband  and mother here to take care of her, she cuts in the  word husband .As  an answer Viplav  gives her frozen look ,  realizes  his outburst with Parshiya   and much to  Kamini's  angst he goes over , and sits beside Parshiya.Two virtuous knights come clean with each other like a pair of good men. Parshiya begins the medicine incident he didn't do it deliberately .Viplav clarifies simply, he knows that already. He knows full well that he can never think ill of  Dhani, its just that when the doctor told him , he couldn't handle it and hence he reacted the way he did. It's like he became brain dead...ummhh he has no problem  with his andDhani's relationship.. ummhh ,beside at that moment in time if another was in his place he would have reacted the same way so it's nothing personal Viplav tells a pensive Parshiya. Parshiya is moved by the disciplined ,civil graciousness  of this lawyer man.kamini butts into the conversation, basically Viplav has  verbally handed over  Dhani  to Parshiya nothing more needs to be said to she  interrupts. Viplav! shall we leave now? and  Viplav looks up at her a bit phased out and replies ,  yes she can leave!  Kamini gets a slap across her face ,she thinks  Dhani's passed over to Parshiya now she'll leave Mumbai  for Banaras  with Viplav as hers for ever but he's just told her to leave on her own! Kamini puts on her mask and  replies, sure she understands and she  goes off once again beaten at her conspiracies , Viplav and Parshiya have ended up being  closer than before , the  strong link that holds the two knights is of course  Dhani!!! Viplav sits outside Dhani's room. Yes he is knackered, thinks Parshiya  as he gives Viplav a sided look  with tears in his eyes, beats him , how can someone love another  so much? even after so many years the way Viplav loses his mind over Dhani?  its like he becomes mad.. how come? and then there's him?? muses parsiyha  in total empathy with Viplav.A certain calm is evident on Viplav's face.A peace that comes when compassion and understanding is shown ,in an emotional  scenario where  ill will can easily breed but does not.

The wicked witch drives away from the hospital . But she cannot shake of the pangs of jealousy that drive her crazy.. Perhaps the witch's  end will be that she loses her mental equilibrium.She can forever be trapped in a moment of time where she lives with the fact that Viplav is hers and he loves her. But in the real world she is a wife whose husband still loves his first love. The witch s joy is stolen no doubt but there is no empathy for  her as she constantly plots to harm others.

A brush with the past.. Dulari lost in thought  brushes past a  well dressed man he mutters a polite sorry! and heads for the pharmacy..  A sullen face flower fairy is  consoled by a lady  ,that her mum will soon be fine. Dulari  comes and gives  Vidha a hug as the lady asks   her how  Dhani is ? Dulari cuddles Vidha    and replies all will be fine. The man Dulari who brushed past, opens his wallet and pays. His wallet has a picture of Dulari!.. is this how Dulari hugged  Dhani at one moment  in time in the past?  Is he another absent father?? first one being Viplav.. in both Dhani and Dulari's eyes..with regards to Vidha. 

Inside her room, Dhani's eyes blink and she comes around.. yet again to the real world.Her world separated from her true love Viplav..ahh but is this a dream? he comes into the room and his mouth falls apart.. she opens her eyes? He sits beside her looks into her eyes and folds his finger  against his mouth ..don't speak my love let the moment linger she looks at him from her hooded  eyes he leans over her to  be close to her and again a tear rolls  from the corner of her eye.oh my love to live this life of separation. Viplav's eyes sparkle as he confirms she has come around!  The door opens again and Parshiya comes in Viplav turns his head .looks over his shoulder ..parshiya stops in his tracks and wait.. and wonders will  vip;lav stand  by his word  , he doesn't mind his relationship with  Dhani? Viplav too knows why Parshiya   waits.. for him to give up his seat! So he can have a turn to talk to  Dhani.. Viplav looks at  Dhani .. she leaves  the decision in mid air , but Viplav is an honourable man.Goes by his  word and reluctantly though ,but still stands up and  leaves the place empty for Parshiya to  sit it..what can be more symbolic  than this scene where two men decide  who  wins the  duel..?

Viplav leaves the room  to find  his  Dhani elsewhere .. why in his daughter of course! He tells the nurse  inform the  doctor the patient is conscious now. Viplav watches as his daughter his flower fairy  bothers her nanny about wanting  to be with her mum..viplav cannot dream of taking Vidha from  Dhani  the child is too young  she needs her mother..he calls for her ,his daughter , his flower fairy and she is full of complaints and questions, her nanny won't  take her to see her mum will he take her demon uncle?she asks testing the limit.. is her mum better now and he replies yes! She's absolutely  fine now! doctor  uncle gave her a vitality  injection! and what's more she had opened her eyes! and guess whose she name took first? Vidha! He tells his daughter Dulari hears Viplav telling Vidha as the child's need is greater! Dulari looks at Viplav..who smiles.. then he tilts his head  and calls out to Dulari in an affectionate  way just like old time..  kaki your buchia has regained consciousness ..dulari breaks down in floods of tears! Then she comes over and literally   pulls Vidha away from Viplav still crouched on his knees ..he swallows  her rejection..silently but as he stands  he hears  his girl ! his flower fairy  ask her nanny , tell me how does demon uncle know who buchiya is??  Dulari replies , how should she know? is she going to become  a lawyer too and  ask him.. Viplav sides his face and  watches  and Vidha too turns her head and gives him a secretive smile..viplav grins as Dulari takes her into the room.. and Viplav reflects  Dhani you can try to deny as much , but Vidha is his daughter! that's my girl! for asking that question!!.. foR what goes between a dad and his daughter is pure unheard off magic! 

Flower queen meets her flower fairy. All her family are around her, her daughter ,mum ,and Parshiya ..dhani asks about ifthey had eaten? Parshiya jokes she gave them a scare how could they eat? Viplav comes but stands in the door way like an outsider.. but it's his daughter who makes his  presence felt.. tells her mother it s a good thing  demon uncle got that  vitality  injection for her that made her well again. that if her dad was around she would tell him to tell her off  because she scolds every one  so there should be some to scold her too..Dhani looks across to Viplav swallowing her tears,.. but Viplav is silent ..  she has sealed his lips and  silently he pokes the end of his forefinger to blot his tears  from coming out of his eyes.. the nurse suddenly arrives visting times over only one person can stay with the patient.. Viplav stands in the door as an outsider..parshiya decides, tells Dulari to take Vidha home.. but Dulari realizes not a good idea , as Parshiya insists  Vidha won't stay with him ..its apparent  to Viplav Parshiya  wants to stay.  Viplav has to stick  to his stance. Dhani takes the final decision Vidha is to go home! although Vidha fusses..  Viplav  refelects  as he feels bad for his daughter, as her father he could have stayed but on what grounds?  It's a tense moment and Viplav withdraws himself from the room..  then the nurse asks the final question , which of you two will remain with the patient? Parshiya still sits on the seat beside  Dhani looks over his shoulder  at Viplav in the door way.. Parshiya leaves it to  Dhani and she nods at him..  Viplav is still not sure who will stay with  Dhani? outside  Parshiya  is handed over  Dhanis medication  with when to give them to her.. Viplav can see the man is unsure of the drugs and administering them but then suddenly  Parshiya  is called back into the room on  Dhani's request...  Viplav   remains silent, goes over to the chair, sits  down  musing as he looks at another husband and wife comforting each other...  the one he loved more than his own life.. is the one who loathes him the most ,won't tell me why? but hates  him she does for sure. He cannot call his daughter, despite of having a family, he feels  alone.. yes they left him but he will never leave them.. for the colour of his Ishq  is to remain hopeful my beloved ! and to stand firm in his love for his family,that is the colour of Ishq   for him now remain steadfast!

The tone of the episode is  an absent father wanting  the rights  to  call his daughter his..will the stranger in the episode have  to contend the same issue?  in Viplav's family  where  a father disclaims  his son already runs between Dashrant  and  tipurari ,  Where a father rejects the claim. But Viplav wants to claim his daughter  before the world...and the stranger what of him? To me the story  is getting  interesting   I am looking at other things than  love   and marriage  I am Looking at issues when a marriage goes wrong and children are  involved.. where absent fathers turn up.. IKRS engages now me..  hamlet53  28.6.16

Such a beautifully written take,
Kept me mesmerized for long now i m trying to comment, words r not enough.
Interesting title, was thinking why u musthave chosen it then got my answer in d end.
I didnt watch d episode but d way u have written it,now attrackted to watch it ryt now.

D introduction u gave is by far,to me, one of ur best.
As much as i know MEN,yeah thats how they r like.need to b nurtured by some motherly figure all d time.b it his own mother or wife or daughter.he wants to see d motherly care in a woman he needs to b with for d rest of his life,he tries to find his mother in his daughter too,specially in old age when d daughter becomes his mother in true sense.

Coming to d episode i think it was a very nice one.
Viplab dhani getting close, sometimes it needs an accident to bring to hearts closer,u said it right.
Five years,five long years of seperation, five long years of losing d color of love, now became a wall between these two good souls viplab n dhani.those who say,u love everything about d one u love,are wrong.u cant love d neglect n ignorance from ur beloved.this five yrs of ignorance from both their parts now has become a wall, yes not larger than their love,wish these two lovers all d best.d color of ishq will break d wall...once again.ishq ishq.like d tear drops of d lovers,let d ice of misunderstanding melt.water brings life, water makes earth a mother figure,which once was a desert.lets see if viplab gets it back or not.d woman who nurtured him...Edited by simple2joy - 7 years ago

loved your post. loved the u described how is viplav pining for his family and is confident he is going to win them back. whatever happened in 5 years, he is not losing hope. and love the way he calls dhaani and vidha his family. first i though, when he mentioned family i thought he was speaking about dada and dadi and son.

These initial lines are brilliant specifically not onli fr Viplov bt fr the new enterent too.. I loved how u ve categorised both as same.. 😊
Witch was once again gven on her face n how u referred her as beaten dog was jst too apt..👍🏼 she's been shown her place by Viplov n I guess u right..she's served wat she desrve..

After reading ur take yes I'm convinced Dhani ws listening to him.. n that's y that tear.. the scene was painful to watch but atleast Viplov got ths opportunity to voice his heart out was much needed.. much needed progression in story telling.. n how he becm calm aftr that was great to watch although adament to accept persh with dha n still pinning on his last hope his daughter.. who made him realise he jst can't let go of his flower queen n flower fairy..who continued to inspire him to do more to get them bac in his life..😳

The consolation prize he got at the end in the form of getting reassurance frm Dul as Vidha being his daughter jst like her dad doing vakalath was brilliantly enacted by Mishal. . The energies behind the sorrow was conveyed well..😳

Dear Hammie...this is the 2nd time I'm typing my reply ...clicked some button n everything vanished what ever I have typed before...Loved your take very well written...loved your starting para...true men do look out for emotional support from women in thier lives n want to receive love through out...so does vip be it from dadi or dhani or dulari whom he considers as a mother.

I loved the scene bet the 2 knights where they understood each other, respected n had empathy as well...their bond is stronger than b4 n they are ready to sacrifice their love as well...the scene where vip poured his heart to dhani was emotional n he somehow wants to end this nightmare ...plus he feels guilty for her condition...he is a doting father who knows how to handle his child with patience n he is doing a great job.

 ohhh to me as well that was the hit scene... you have defined it well in the earth angel   totd  ..

Loved the way par n dul gave a fitting reply to km she so deserves it...she is infact bringing all of them together be it par n vip or dhani n vip...loved the way he gave her reply n shut her mouth n she like a loser ran away...now nothing is working acc to her evil plans...will watch this scene again...not every day km keeps her mouth shut...dul supporting n understanding par is awesome.

Yaar yeh banda dhani's dad why did he leave them on their own to fend themselves ?? He looks wealthy n what must have happened that dul has become a widow ...did she hide the fact from dhani or did some serious MU crop up bet her parents that dul had to save her child just like vip's case?? N no wonder both dhani n dul are very protective towards vidha n don't want her to suffer the way she did...lets wait n watch ...enjoyed the epi. Btw what is TYC ??  TLC..TENDER LOVING CARE...    WAISE love... BPL... BUM PE LAAT!🤣...

Beautifully penned episode, I personally loved the scenes between Viplav and dhaani... And as ever it was viplav's show all the way. The silent cry ... The silent fight with his destiny was beautifully portrayed. ... It's an interesting angle. More so... Coz today I felt... Even though dhaani seems to have not forgiven Viplav... She can never hate him. In the hospital bed ... I am sure dhaani was listening to Viplav ... That's the reason a tear came off her eyes. For once... I am eagerly waiting when vidhaa finds out viplav's truth. Waiting when vidhaa goes to ayodhya Niwas... Waiting how the cv's taken the grandchild and her presence in the patriarchal ayodhya Niwas. 

oh yes that has to be the big   news..though feel it will drag on to keep us annoying... cvs prey on our frustrations
