IKRS Friday 8th April 2016 ep 212 My Take to trap a fortune hunter!
The episode is to allure a fortune hunter, a seeker of wealth who attains it by marrying a rich partner. Raja falls clearly in that category it was never hidden from the audience. But Viplav is now in the business of exploiting Raja weakness with the view to expose him before those who it matters most to, namely Shalu Raja's wife! the episode cleverly uses a disguised persona to dupe Raja into tripping him and his family up!
It's all about exploiting Raja' s double weakness one wealth and that which goes with it, lust for anything in skirts. So Viplav lures the bait ,special delivery gift and card. For Raja's ears and greed ridden persona , Viplav announces the card and gift is from his friend from Delhi a princes royal a mahrajah's daughter! Raja s mouth waters at the sound of royalty connection. Fortune hunter he is , sounds like a new prey in town..to covet ,a curse never satisfied always wants more.. Viplav allures Raja , bigs up the princess , reckons she should be invited to add to the social importance of the big feast. The gift a representation of Ravana the ten headed monster and Sita, and Ashok vatika is lauded by Dashrant . Viplav rubs in, wonder why she chose this subject? chose the content to send of a message to Raja but the greedy monstrosity is more interested in meeting this princess who certainly gives the impression of being dirty rich.
Viplav oversees the outdoor canopy arrangement for the big feast. Raja plays his game and bribes the awnings and canopy man into not doing the canopy's arrangement to thwart Viplav's effort and to show him up as irresponsible.. Raja aims to give not just two people, but a whole load of people a huge surprise.
A leopard never changes its spots. Dhani stands on a kitchen stool reaches out for a ceramic container on the top shelf. Raja stands in the door way. His emotions are raised as he checks out Dhani s back. His intentions are not pure it's Dhani he s looking for .. previously too it was in the kitchen he would corner her to take advantage off. But here ,actually Shalu as Viplav's shadow arrives in the kitchen and points out him being out of place in the kitchen and inadvertently saves her brother's and this house s honour. Raja has to leave disappointed. Raja is interested in all other women except his wife!
What else is cooking in the kitchen.. Dhani's presence attracts yet another, in the kitchen. This time the bold, buzzing bumble bee her besotted husband. Viplav sneaks in like a lion looking then finding one's wife standing on a stool in the kitchen reaching out for a container is too tempting to resist.. he jumps on the stool , warns her carrying heavy load will sprain her back ,besides he's here to help her ..viplav turns to check for any interruptions and gets closer for some romance which can be impromptu anywhere..in fact the new space excites Viplav.. accidently his hand goes on the top of the unit where he pulls and unfurls the lace table cloth which lands on both of them like a canopy over their heads! as both remain standing inches apart from each other under this sheer cover of the table cloth. The novel scenario of intimate love expression in the kitchen is made full use of by Viplav and Dhani till it is rudely interrupted by Kanak! Caught in the act! Shameless! shameless! Still sheepishly the frisky frolics! forces Viplav to plant a kiss on his mothers cheek! has to keep both women wife and mother happy ..has been the policy Viplav strives for as the ideal son , ideal husband..
Royalty awaited.. as the inhabitants of AN , including gate crashes, stand to attention before the gate. Viplav primes her arrival .. mami adds cynically no such thing as Raja's maharajahs! these days only Raja's is in name sans, title , sans, might, sans , wealth just the name rajah.. Freudian slip as she describes her own leech Raja's situation! But Viplav lures the Awasthi's, who they'll meet today is not a queen in name but in reality too! Then Raj laxmi arrives in the disguise of a queen dressed in a bold single shoulder Grecian gown. Raja ogles clearly taken in by this double package of power statement of loaded royal beauty. To show familiarity with her Viplav introduces her first to his mother, as MHBD short for maharani Bhaghwati Devi! Kanak's discerning eyes reckons she's familiar, seen by her before. Viplav unprepared adds, the queen is on the cover page of a magazine in his room! besides royalty hunted by photographers.Introductions, Viplav introduces his wife Dhani , the queen says beautiful, and presents Dhani with a diamond set ,to whet Raja's appetite for wealth. Dhani declines as its too expensive a gift ,but queen says, once given she doesn't take it back ,give it to her servants. Mamis avarice shows up as with both hands she begs for it.. she has to be restrained! It's like forcing out the true greed for wealth out of the Awasthi's before all! Viplav introduces her to Dashrant who is totally impressed to and invites her to the big banquet to raise the importance of festivity, add a touch of royalty. A touch of spoken English by Rajlaxmi to impress the shallow onlookers that she really is a queen , begs leave to go to the hotel as she's tired
Back in the kitchen Viplav is over the moon even praised Raj laxmi's use of English that she managed. But Dhani is worried and Viplav assures her he's there to back her up. Seems like it's bulls eye! Rajlaxmi phones to tell Viplav she received a call from Raja he wants to see her.. and Viplav says ,not to worry he'll be around!
Raja is so keen he arrives before time, Raj laxmi spots him and worries about Viplav's whereabouts.. In no time Raja's at her door step , presents her with a bouquet of flowers !she invites him in ,Raja watches her as she adorns herself with jewels before the dressing table. For authenticity queen asks him hope he hasn't turned up for donations? and she says not at all!hejustcame to meet her and.. she asks, and what? The door bell rings , and he moans silently now who could be this intruder? Viplav enters with apology as the cleaner with a dust mask.. she sits down before the dressing table and starts opening jewellery boxes to allure him...but he cannot resist, stands up and goes closer to her and says, hope she doesn't mind him saying to her ,but the moment he saw her, he couldn't get his eyes off her... couldn't believe that someone can be so beautiful ,and she looks even prettier in jewel.. this necklace ,looks very expensive ...how much did she pay for it? She looks at Viplav and he sneezes and Rajlaxmi replies, it's not her job to go for prices, she just selects ..besides she is thinking looking at this jewellery it looks old, might be giving to the servants. In apprehension Raja says, she is very generous, beauty from the outside that matches her beauty from the inside too. Rajlaxmi looks up at Viplav who jerks his head to suggest, send him now , Rajlaxmi goes, she needs to sleep, as she likes to go early to bed and early to rise . But before Raja leaves he yells at the cleaner , you too leave! didn't he hear she needs rest..but Rajlaxmi says, its fine she'll deal with him. Before Raja goes he says , he'll wait for her, he means his family will wait for her at the big banquet. She sees him to the door .. once he leaves Viplav pulls his dust mask down and then both smile at each other Viplav whispers looks like the plan is successful!..it's interesting Viplav enters the room as a cleaner, symbolic he comes to vacuum this pest Raja away!
The episode continues from thursday working on chanakya's neeti..daam is put in place in the episode.. rajlaxmi put to use.
