Yeah, the Omkara + Serial predictions.LOL Looks like Anurag  was caught between his vision and the commercial aspect. I remember we had a discussion about the directors and piyatrix mentioned how directors need to be true to their vision. Otherwise all kinds of fans will be disappointed at the end. Honestly, I wouldn't have minded a mess-up but this is a big-budget mess up and a lots of people are gonna get effected. I hope Anurag comes back with a bang though. Don't know when it's gonna happen. Not very soon, I guess.

Exactly..Thats where the problem lies..Anurag should stick to small budget films..Thats his forte..If you make a big budget film, first & foremost, it has to be entertaining to recover the cost..It shouldn't be too artsy & complicated..And thats exactly why BV is a mess..Anurag has tried to simplify it & inserted a love story to make it mainstream and in the process its neither here nor there..If Anurag had stuck to class conflict & tug-of-war between socialism and capitalism, it could have been a brilliant film..But it couldn't have recovered its cost..So we can conclude that Anurag should stick to making films like Ugly LOL

Or better GoW or Gulaal. And yeah, that's the ultimate conclusion.LOL Had he stick to his vision, it would have at least ended up becoming a cult movie in the coming years. Yaha pe toh kuch bhi nhi mila. LOL Hey, but having said all that..I genuinely enjoyed the BV Updates thread, It was one fun place. Will surely miss all the crazy discussions. Embarrassed And also, I have developed a soft corner for Ranbir and jinxed him. LOL

Yep, will miss the discussions, even tho I wasn't too active but had a great time reading so many perspective about diff aspects of film making. Will miss that.

Can't say the same about Ranbir's next release WinkLOL

The thread was super fun guys. @rogerrocks and @.krackjack.

Enjoyed every bit of it. One of the few threads I have come across since joining here; where genuine discussion was taking place.

Naah maybe my choice is weird ConfusedLOL , didnt really liked the film after that fight organisers' wife dies in bomb blast and Johny portrays that it was Rosie .

Clearly big budget movies like isnt his thing . Tried to make it too commercial and ended up making a khichdi . LOL

You just gave out a major spoilerTongueLOL Anyways, atleast something happened in the second half manLOL The only scenes which stayed with me were the one where Chimman dies & the climax ( apart from a few others but these two were the best IMO) and both of them were from the second halfLOL
i liked that tender scene where KJo laughs on Ranbir's english the most .. LOL .. didnt really liked the climax much , it could've been more impactful.

Oh that scene was awesome..One of the few lighthearted scenes in the film LOL  The climax well, i really liked how Anurag closed the loop there & Rosie called him a big shot before he dies..That was some good writing..Just that the love story wasn't properly set up so you din feel sorry for any character LOL

@Roger did u prefered the first half m scenes ki khichdi or the slow & monotous route towards the end after interval ... #justasking coz i liked the first half & ppl near me hated it LOL

I actually liked the second half more..Is that weird? LOL  I assumed its gonna be terrible thanks to all the reviews so thats probably why i ended up liking it in comparison LOL  I cant believe Kashyap is the same guy who made a brilliant film like Ugly Confused

LOL glad I am not crazy! I was wondering if I was the only one who liked it in the same way! LOL
