BV has 120 Cr Budget, it belong to Dhoom 3, CE, Kick, Krissh kind of Big Budget Film, so it was sold @ price, now 2600 Screens, Huge promotions... no way BV is smaller like Fanny / Piku.

Talking about the genre not the budget. BV is not a masala film. It won't bring in family audience or people who mostly watch films for hit songs, item nos and larger then life action

Tbh I am quite sure Anurag tried to sell this as a mainstream masala, hence his vision got distorted. It's obvious that his vision lost it's way while trying to make it as commercially viable as possible. Yeah he failed at that but the intention is obvious.
