According to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia, Veera' continued its strong run with 78,800 viewers at 17:00, followed by Mere Angne Mein' at 17:30 with 58,400 viewers (over one-hour) and Suhani Si Ek Ladki' at 18:30 with 40,900 viewers. The channel easily remains the most watched during the early-evening schedule.

However, the most popular show on the channel last night was Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' at 19:30 with 98,700 viewers, followed by Diya Aur Baati Hum' at 21:00 with 83,300 viewers and Saathiya' at 19:00 with 59,200 viewers.

andhya bids bye to Sooraj; Mission Mahabali initiates in Diya Aur...

Sandhya's participation in Mission Mahabali is going to make her stay away from Sooraj for a considerable amount of time and moreover she has inhibitions about her life, but regards her duty as the foremost and above all. She gets thoughts on what will Sooraj feel after she leaves him for her mission without giving him definite details. She gives the brief about Mission Mahabali to officer Bharat. He asks her to keep the details very confidential. Sandhya succeeds in making Bhabho and Emily patch up and Sooraj does his duty by ending Chavi's annoyance for Emily. The family happily accepts Emily back and Sandhya is happy to do her duty towards them.

The next track in the show will be having a Shiv Abhishek and a play in Hanuman Gali. It is a play about Shiv and his two wives Sati and Parvati. Sandhya gets the role of Sati and is jealous of Laali doing the role of Parvati. She tells Sooraj that she will be doing both the roles and she can't bear his second wife even while acting. Sooraj convinces her to play just Sati and she can't play double roles in the play. He explains her that she will be his wife forever and calms her growing fears. He explains her how Shiv's wife Sati sacrificed herself and later his second wife Parvati was a reincarnation of Sati.

Sandhya gets glad and says she will be his wife in all her births. Sandhya takes the avatar of Sati while Sooraj takes the avatar of Mahadev and Meenakshi dons the role of Narad Muni. Sandhya as Sati opens-up on her situation in-front of Mahadev. She tells the things she can't say directly to Sooraj. She explains that she has hidden her duty, her feelings and emotional dilemma from Sooraj. Mahadev listens to her earnest words and tries to bring relief to her. Sandhya's Mission Mahabali is going ahead at good pace with Himanshu going to take her for her mannat. Bharat and Sandhya take Himanshu and board the train, where they plan to grab him alone. Diya Aur Baati Hum: Deepika Singh looks better as Sagarika Das, not Sandhya, say fans!

Sandhya might have been ruling hearts for all this while, but the times have changed now

We know that Deepika Singh aka Diya Aur Baati Hums Sandhya is presently seen in a new avatar for her mission. She is now posing as Sagarika Das who is supposed to marry Himanshu Dubey, the prime funder of a terrorist group. When we first saw Sandhya's new look, we were pleasantly surprised and asked you fans to decide which of Deepika's avatars is better - Sandhya or Sagarika. Well your verdict matches ours...

68 per cent viewers have voted for Sagarika Das. Clearly, fans have found the new look as refreshing as we did.

On the show, Sandhya is torn between her real self, who is a married woman and that of Sagarika, who is asked to marry someone. We saw Himanshu (Amit Dolawat) asking Sagarika to marry her before they go the temple. Now it is important that Himanshu comes to the temple for their plan work but the marriage clause has put Sandhya in a fix. She has now finally managed to come up with the perfect solution to escape this marriage...

While talking to Himanshu, Sandhya claims that it was her mother's mannat that she visits the temple with her husband-to-be before getting married. Obviously, Himanshu honours the manatand agrees to visit the temple prior to the wedding.

In the Rathi house, meanwhile, the differences between Bhabho (Neelu Waghela) and Emily (Pooja Jain) are sorted and things seem to be getting better between Chavi and Emily too.

In the upcoming episode we will see Sandhya getting even more possessive about Sooraj (Anas Rashid) as she now has just three days in hand to be with her family. Post this she will have to leave for Kolkata and the chances of her coming back alive a very slim. Sandhya's possessiveness surfaces when the Rathi family is deciding who will play what part in the Shiv play. Sooraj is obviously playing Shiv and Sandhya is chosen to play his first wife. The part of his second wife, however, goes to Laali and Sandhya immediately objects to it saying that she alone is Sooraj's first and second wife.

In the upcoming episodes of Diya Aur Baati Hum' , Deepika Singh who plays the part of Sandhya in the show, will be seen enacting the role of Goddess Sati and Parvati for the drama organised by the residents of Hanuman Gali.

Actor Anas Rashid, who plays the role of Sooraj Rathi in 'Diya Aur Bati Hum', will don the get-up of Lord Shiva in an upcoming sequence of the popular soap opera.

As Anas's on-screen wife and IPS officer Sandhya Rathi (played by Deepika Singh) will go on a secret mission leaving her family behind, the couple will be seen together for the last time in a very different avatar.

To get perfection into his look of Lord Shiva, Anas took around four hours to get ready. The actor donned a headgear of long hair which was too heavy for him to wear. He was also seen holding a 'trishul' (trident) to was slightly heavy.

'Diya Aur Bati Hum' to take three-month leap?

After taking a five-year leap in April, popular soap opera "Diya Aur Bati Hum" may witness another forward plunge in its upcoming episodes.

According to a source, the makers are looking forward to take a three-month leap after which Sooraj (Anas Rashid) will be losing his memory when he will learn about Sandhya's (Deepika Singh) death.

"The show is soon going to undergo a complete change in the track with 'Mission Mahabali' coming in. It's going to be a high point in the show and Sandhya's loss will change everything in the Rathi family," the source said.

"Diya Aur Bati Hum", which airs on Star Plus, focuses on the life of IPS officer Sandhya Rathi and her husband Sooraj, who becomes her strength and helps her to fulfil her dream.
