Yes you read it right! Deepika Singh will no longer play Sandhya in Star Plus' popular daily soap Diya Aur Baati Hum. If you think that the actor is quitting the show, you are wrong. The actor will play a Bengali woman in the show for another five to six months.
According to a report in Times Of India, Sandhya will be seen as a Bengali woman for her secret mission as a police officer. The production house is trying different looks for Deepika as a Bengali woman.
"Yes, I will be playing a Bengali woman and we are trying to get the perfect look for that," the actor confirmed the news to TOI.
