Right on. My sentiments exactly!

The Prasads have already made a suitcase full of money plus the surprise "muh dikhayi" by selling Payal's face and presence at various events. Plus Santoshi and Guddi have already spent her first month's salary on the fancy earrings.

Payal will be milked for her misguided compassion repeatedly. The shameless outlaws will keep asking for gifts in kind and keep getting into financial scrapes, from which Payal will have to extricate them...a and the show must go on!

THE PROMO WAS A BREATH OF FRESH AIR.

@aimf You are overlooking the positive message of the promo - and that is Dev's assertive attitude and his understanding of his family and Payal.

His words to Payal were - if you respect me you will never hand over your pay to my ..."

Obviously, Dev has realized what a wimp Payal is at home.  Dev may be unemployed but he has more self respect than Payal.  

I will watch this show for Dev - and hope that some day he will make Payal understand the true meaning of self-respect

Your response is right on. Yes there is some hope in Dev coming out of his delusion. Perhaps this is the shock that will jolt Payal out of her complacency!
