Abhi's wrong does not make Pragya right. Pragya was the one who always showed she cares so much about Daadi that she makes sure she eats, takes meds every day. She once gave a long lecture about that too to a doctor.

The point is even Pragya is super sad that she hurt Daadi like this. Even Pragya is not defending it but just doing it thinking it will achieve some big purpose, and for that purpose she is doing some ridiculous things here.

PS: There is something sweet and respectful about taking care of elders.

Abhi's wrongs don't make Pragya's actions right. But they do make them comparable characters. The higher standards people put on Pragya are bizarre, especially when they're using Abhi as a bastion for anything positive in comparison.

We're never going to agree on this but I'm merely pointing out a prevalent idea here that Pragya should be held to a higher standard when her husband's deplorable behavior is constantly justified by excuses.
