"I have been offered Jhalak, Big Boss and several other formats ,but I always turned them down for I don't like the over competitive zeal which such face offs creates among contestants. Personally I love to learn dance, but I don't think I will be able to survive in the cut throat game . Bigg Boss type of shows is defiantly not up my alley. I am open to any show which will make me thrive as a performer and not bog me down." She added.
As regards fiction model/anchor turned actress Pooja is game for interesting and challenging roles across genres . Asked as to why we have not seen her on telly ever since the above mytho shut shop last year?" I have been offered many projects, but I don't want to commit to something till I am fully confident about it. I am hopeful that something good will soon come up. Time will tell how things pan out . I don't like to talk about my work till the deal is done."
Although Pooja who began her acting career with a Star Plus Telly film feels that the typical dukhiyari bahu roles have been done to death, over the years , she still does not rule out doing one such show, in the future. "For I also believe in never say never. A lot also depends on how the character is presented right?"
In closing Pooja says she is very proud to have been associated with a cult show like Mahabharat" I have got lots of name and fame. It has put me in a happy space. One of the biggest compliments I have received is that you look so different in real life then what you portrayed on the tube. It is all about the costumes and the way you get into the skin of the character. "
