But they have an advantage - they've only played 11 matches so far, as opposed to everyone else's 12 and 13. They have 3 games left - this one v KXIP, one on Friday v SRH @ Uppal, and their last on Sunday v DD @ Flattaswamy. They are at 13 points now. Just 2 wins will see them into the playoffs if other results go their way, while 3 wins will guarantee them playoffs. Out of these 3 games, 2 are against teams that are already out, while the one v SRH could be a decider.
So they are in a very good position. RR's position is precarious, having played the most matches and being on a losing streak lately, w/ only 1 match left against KKR in Mumbai. Even though RR is my fav, I think they're out of the playoffs. Probably, playoffs will be KKR, CSK, RCB and one of either SRH or RR.
I know I was joking. But yeah I agree with what you said.I think RR are almost out of the race now. It's like they brought this upon themselves.Don't know what happened to them. They were looking invincible in the beginning and now they have been in a never ending losing streak. As much as I dislike KKR one think is for sure beating them would be really hard but the match is in Mumbai so anything is possible.KKR are more like Ghar ke Sher IMO.
I just want SRH to qualify at any cost.I hope they are able to beat RCB but for that they would have to strengthen their bowling.I hope they are able to buy some good Indian Players in the next auction. This year was proof of how badly they need a Good Indian Player(Both in Bowling as well as batting department).
