She had no choice but to become a tough minded person. Situations had forced her to become the DD Patel. I don't think they are divorced as she uses his name with her name still. 

she was so charming... I saw Roshni in that young DD😊 She was happy, adorable smile and childishly agreed to marry Shiv without thinking any back ground... so lovely😊

Now i understood why roshni's behavior was so childish bcoz young dd was just like her...😆 "Like mother,like daughter"...😉
