Madhubala-Rockstar...
2 ppl you would never see in one room together
2 people who absolutely hated each other
She was way tooo retro for him..
he was tooo Kool for her taste..
She was pretty much Straight
he was pretty much gay...
yet here they stood at cross-roads to one another...
thanks to 2 thickhead,narrow-minded women...
one of who didn't approve her daughter's pre-marital pregnancy
and other who refused to accept her son's errr...preferences ...
they tried every road to get rid of the path chosen for them by their mothers...
but all of them flopped...
whether it be setting up a fake daddy
or coming clean of his homosexuality
nothing budged these women and their determination to unite them..
tie them into a Knot...
if that was even remotely possible!!
Now that was an interesting situation...
The Supercool Rockstar -Marrying a Retro -style Madhubala..
you'd think they had nothing in common...
that they were the diverging paths of a cross-road..
never bound to meet...
yet surprisingly enough they had a lot of things in common...
they'd both been heart-broken,
abandoned ,
looked down upon by the society...
they'd seen it all
and dealt the situations in their own way...
but this...
was Awkward!!
and what was more shocking for her?
Him finally giving in...
Him finally agreeing to marry her!!!
the summer came and went by so early,
that I never realized when winter crept in,
here I stand waiting for the warmth of spring to touch my numb cheek,
and yet all I see is a vast endless wintery Night,
refusing to leave my side
"Cabir tum aisa kaise kar sakte ho humare saath"
"Do I have a choice?"
" hum apna dhyan khud rakh sakte hai, hume tumhare ehsaan ki zaroorat nahi"
" ehsaan? now all this is ehsaan for u? weren't u the 1 to forcefully live in my house?"
" humari galti thi..."
"badi jaldi yaad aaya"
" hume kuchh aur sochna padega...hum dono ki...shaadi??"
"its a nightmare ..."
"yahi toh hum bhi keh rahe hai"
*Cabir 's cell phone rings he takes the call and bangs his wrist in frustration*
"Why me? why now? why's life so damn frustrating from all the sides right now*
Navya just looks on...realizing she's not the only one stuck in this endless nightmare he is too
In this strange journey I am about to persue,
you seem to be the only hope,
despite the diverging paths we chose to take,
here we stand at crossroads,
together making the impossible ,
Possible.

A/N : not really what I hoped to write,
I am not sure what I just wrote,
I had something entirely else in my mind...
but ended up in a serious note...
I wanted to keep it light and humourous
but ended up writing an entirely different genre
