' Avanti , khidhki kholo ' hissed someone from the backyard
i walked upto the window and opened it . There was Virat standing in my backyard with some books in his hands
' Vo me return karne aaya tha ' he made an innocent face
' To kal det dete ' I tried to be casual
' Ab aa gaya hu to le lo na ' he widened on of his eye as if he was indicating me something
' Accha ruko me rope rope deti hu tumhe dhoondhke ' I said making a packman face
' rope ' he argued ' books dene aaya hu Everest chadhne nahi , shanti se neeche aao ' came his reply with a poker face
' accha wait ' i said and walked downstairs picking up a showel and covering myself on the way
' Ek din ruk nahi sakte ho , kal aa rahi thi na me school ' i said while reaching towards where he was standing
' kaha gayab ho ? ' i murmured
' Idhar hu me ' i heard his voice from behind the car and walked there
' Yaha kyu bethe ho ' i asked him as i reached
while he kept the books aside and pulled me a little close with my hands .
He dropped on his knees and waited

waited ...
and waited until i finally asked
' kiska wait kar rahe ho , statue ki tarha bas beth gaye ho 10 min se
' vo bas do min ' he gestured with his hands
and as the clock probably sturck 12 he said
' Happy birthday Avanti , will you be my girlfriend ? ' he quickly said
' What the , yes but seriously .. ' i couldn't finish my sentence when he hugged me so tight and my whole world was completed
