Chapter 19
Randhir came back home and straight away went to his room. He sat on the bed with a thud. He was disturbed. He didn't know why but he was feeling something weird. Vardhan sir words developed a storm in his mind. He couldn't understand what he meant. He closed his eyes and tried to relax. His mind diverted to the Sanyukta again. He tightly closed his eyes trying not to think of it but all the memories came running to his mind.
His mind again diverted to what he was thinking last night. The confession day.
Flashback:
Suryavanshi Mansion
A/N: The same time when Sanyukta shouted on Randhir for his sudden disappearance. She then confessed her love but before listening to his words she fainted.
"Sanyukta aakhe kholo", Randhir sprinkled some water on her face and tried to wake her up.
Sanyukta moved a little and slightly opened her eyes. Randhir sighed and settled beside her.
"Sanyukta tum theekh ho na?", Randhir asked making her sit straight on the bed.
"tumhe kya farak padta hai? Do you care for me? No", she answered her own question. "agar tum
karte toh mujhe yu akela nahi chodke jatein. Neither you would have left me nor would you have said all that."
"tum galat samajh rahi ho Sanyukta. Essa kuch nahi hain. Maine tumhe apna reason bataya na lekin...", Randhir said but was cut off by her.
"oh please Randhir. Don't start it all again. Mujhe pata ki tum kya feel karte ho mere baare mein. I think I am a fool jo main tumse pyaar kar bethi. But don't worry I will not force myself on you", saying so she started to get up.
"kaha ja rahi hoon?", Randhir asked her.
"There is no reason for me being here Randhir. I don't want to talk with you. So do me a favour and leave me alone, please.."
"I am not going anywhere..."
"Rand-"
"Shhh", he hushed her up and stepped closer.
For a moment their eyes met...
Silence set in.
Pulling together all his mental strength, he broke the eye-lock and said in the softest of voices, "I am bad for u."
She blinked.
"I am bad for u" he reiterated.
"U don't know that" she argued, her voice quivering.
"I don't...I can't give u anything but pain..."
"U don't know that..." she said in the same monotone with tears filling her eyes.
It was like they were in a trance. Their emotions heightened, their fears clinging onto their minds, their hearts racing.
"Sanyukta, I...U think i am worthy of u...But..."
"Shhh", this time it was her turn to silence him.
She took a step forward so that now they were barely inches apart.
"Don't break me Randhir...please..." she pleaded with tears filled eyes.
"agar main tumhara sath apni puri zindagi bitane chahata hoon toh?", Randhir asked out of blue.
She opened her eyes and saw him smiling. She got confused with his sudden change in behaviour. She back but Randhir continued to move towards her. Soon Sanyukta's back hit the wall and Randhir caged her between him and wall.
"Main kuch pucha hain tumse Sanyukta. Agar main tumhare sath apni puri zindagi bitana chahu toh?", Randhir asked with his eyes fixed on her.
Sanyukta didn't know what to say.
"Agar main iska jawab de doon toh?", Randhir asked her.
She frowned but didn't spoke anything. But Randhir knew she wanted his answer.
"I can spend my whole life with you Sanyukta. You know why?",
She frowned more not able to decipher his words.
"Because I LOVE YOU. I LOVE YOU SANYUKTA. Mujhe nahi pata ki main tumse kab pyaar kar baitha but yes, I love you. I know there were times when I was harsh on you, troubled you, intentionally hurt you, but I never knew you'll change me like this. I've always been lonely Sanyukta, always. Yes, I had friends, but they never understood me, never... I've never talked about what I like, what I love with anyone, but with you, I have. Every day I wake up, just to think how I can irritate you, and when I don't find you around, I feel suffocated. Yes I'm addicted to you, your taunts, your witty retorts, your expressions when you get all charged up about the woman are the best, your anger, our fights, your smile, your eyes, your innocent face. Sanyukta Aggarwal, I Randhir Singh Shekhawat, accept that I'm truly, madly and deeply in love with you. I love you..."
Both kept silent and looked in each other's eyes. Both of their eyes spoke volume. Sanyukta had enough. She rushed to him and hugged him. It felt perfect, it felt beautiful.
"I love you too..." she said it feeling every bit of it.
She didn't want to let him go. Not now, not ever...
"Sanyukta", Randhir called her out but she didn't reply. She was too numb to react. She was just hugging him tightly. Tears of happiness brimmed down her eyes. Her happiness meant no bounds.
"Sanyukta", he again called out.
"don't spoil it sadu", Sanyukta said still crying.
Randhir smiled and hugged her bringing her more close to him. He thought that someone finally broke the shell he built around himself and entered his world. It was Sanyukta, someone he hated a few months back. He didn't believe he said all those words to her.
Flashback ends
Randhir trance was broken by Karan's voice. He immediately wiped his tears and sat straight.
"dad", Karan came into Randhir room and jumped on his laps.
"are Karan. Aram se", Randhir said smiling.
"dad lets go shopping", Karan said smiling.
fine but ask Vidushi to come along. I cannot do all this", Randhir said smiling.
"yes I know. Yaad hain mujhe . once you brought a shirt for me and that was so big that it reached to my knees", Karan said laughing remembering it.
"okay okay. Abhi chale. Kal tumhe jana bhi hai", Randhir said and both moved out for shopping.
At night
"Karan packing ho gayi?", Vidushi asked coming into the room only to find a mess around it.
There was Karan and Randhir sitting on the bed with a mountain of clothes around them. She face palmed.
"yeh kya kar diya tumne room ka?", Vidushi asked entering carefully.
"are bui yeh sab dad ne kiya", Karan blamed Randhir.
"haawww champ. Yeh tumhara kaam hai. Decide hi nahi kar pa rahe ho ki kya lekar jana hai", Randhir blamed Karan.
And the blame game started.
"shut up", Vidushi shouted to stop them.
"go out both of you. I will pack your stuff Karan. Till then don't even dare to enter this room. Ek Karan kaam tha jo abb Randhir tum bhi bacho ki tarah zid kar rahe ho?", Vidushi said angrily.
After 40 minutes Vidushi came out of room and headed towards the dining table.
"maine packing kardi hai", Vidushi said and settled down on the chair.
"thanks bui", Karan said and kissed her cheek.
A smile formed on her face.
"acha suno Karan. Waha par ache se rehna. Kisi se jhagda nahi karna. Sabse pyaar se baat karna aur...", Vidushi said but halted at end.
"aur?", Karan said playing along.
"aur mujhe bahut sara miss karna", Vidushi said smiling.
"aur mujhe bhi", Parth said entering the room.
"nahi karunga toh", Karan said with attitude.
"toh main tumhe jane hi nahi dunga", Parth said confidently.
"acha theekh hai karlunga apko miss lekin sirf itu sa", Karan showed itu sa with his fingers.
"haan theekh hai. Aur apne dad ko miss nahi karoge?", Parth asked.
"nahi karunga", Karan said.
Everyone was shocked listening to it.
"kyu?", Vidushi asked him.
"because he will be with me", Karan said and showed a photo of Randhir.
Randhir smiled sadly. He was sad because he will miss his son. He went and hugged him tightly. Karan too hugged tightly.
"acha abb agar tumhara hug session katam ho gaya ho toh dinner karle?", Parth teased the duo.
Karan showed him a tongue and all settled for dinner.
"Karan I will send your bodyguards with you and a tablet with them jisse hum daily Skype par baat karenge", Randhir told him while eating their food,.
"but dad bodyguard's ki kya zarrorat hai?", Karan made a futile attempt though he knew that it was of no use.
"champ", Randhir said sternly and that was enough for Karan.
After dinner everyone went to sleep and got ready for another excited day of their life. Even at Suryavanshi mansion everyone was sleeping without knowing the fact what future has hold for them. Who knew from tomorrow a new chapter was starting in their life.
